Experiência de Stand Up Paddle (SUP) no Rio Sai Gon

My best memory of Hanoi is this rafting trip along the rural part of the river. Simply the best guide in all of Vietnam, Duy, showed us all the charms and magic of the river, the bay, and especially its tributary with picturesque banks. The palm vegetation is so dense that it's hard to believe you're within the city limits: it feels like being in the jungle! Duy created a relaxed, benevolent atmosphere, gave necessary technical advice (even though I am an experienced paddler), and presented the surrounding beauties to our eyes. This rafting trip had only one drawback - it was only a day long; I wanted to go down the river much, much more. Overall, 10 out of 10! All SUP lovers must visit this activity! We recently had the pleasure of embarking on a paddle boating adventure that left us utterly delighted and invigorated! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest smile and hospitality imaginable. Our instructor, Ha, whose enthusiasm for paddle boating was infectious, made us feel right at home from the get-go. Not only was our instructor incredibly hospitable, but she was also remarkably accommodating. She took the time to ensure that everyone felt comfortable and confident in handling the paddle boat, regardless of prior experience and managed to take beautiful scenic pictures of us too. Her patience and encouragement were truly commendable, as she guided us through the basics with precision and ease. What truly set this experience apart was the wealth of information our instructor shared with us. She didn't just teach us how to paddle boat; she shared fascinating insights about the surrounding environment, pointing out various landmarks and wildlife along the way. Her passion for nature was palpable, and it added a layer of depth to the experience that we will always treasure. Overall, this paddle boating experience was nothing short of memorable and ideal. Thanks to our wonderful instructor, I not only had a fantastic time out on the water but also gained a newfound appreciation for nature and the joys of paddle boating. I can't wait to return for another adventure soon! Thank you so much!

Chuyến đi xuôi dòng sông ngắm hoàng hôn thật tuyệt vời. Hướng dẫn viên Duy của chúng tôi rất thú vị và chu đáo. Anh ấy đã chỉ cho chúng tôi các kỹ thuật và đưa ra một số lời nhắc nhở trước khi chúng tôi bắt đầu. Nước sông khá sạch. Chúng tôi đã đi chậm rãi và ổn định cho đến khu vực Bảo tàng Áo dài. Có một điểm dừng uống nước giải khát trước khi đến bảo tàng. Miễn là bạn ngồi trên SUP, bạn sẽ không bị ướt, nhưng đứng là một phần của niềm vui khi chèo SUP, vì vậy hãy cố gắng đứng lên ít nhất một lần để chụp ảnh. Nhìn chung khá vui, đặc biệt nếu bạn chơi theo nhóm. Điều duy nhất có thể phàn nàn là điểm hẹn khá xa. Tôi đã đi xe buýt số 88 (6k) từ trung tâm thành phố, mất khoảng 45 phút và sau đó đi bộ 10 phút để đến điểm hẹn. Vì SUP kết thúc vào khoảng 6h30 tối, tôi đã đi xe ôm công nghệ về lại thành phố.

The instructor is very friendly! Ask her anything about Vietnam water sports and she will give you a comprehensive answer! The place is very scenic. Stand up paddle boarding is very fun!

El punto de encuentro fue un hotel bastante remoto. Llegamos a las 2:45 p.m. como se nos indicó y esperamos en la zona de la piscina. Nuestra guía Thu (Jerry) nos llevó al área de almacenamiento donde obtuvimos nuestro equipo (chaleco salvavidas, casillero para bolsos, cordón para el teléfono, bolsa seca) y tuvimos una lección rápida en tierra sobre cómo manejar el SUP y el remo. Luego vino la actividad real en el río. No fue difícil, la corriente era suave. Algunas olas si pasaba una lancha rápida, así que hay que sujetarse bien. Nuestra guía Thu (Jerry) fue muy amable y atenta durante toda la actividad, se mantuvo cerca de nosotros, especialmente al principio, ya que uno de nosotros no sabía nadar. Nos tomó muchas fotos y videos y, como hablaba muy bien inglés, pudimos conversar con ella durante todo el tiempo en el río. ¡Súper divertido! Empezó a llover a las 5 p.m. y la lluvia se hizo más intensa, así que tuvimos que suspender la actividad y tomar un taxi de regreso al hotel. Cuando regresamos, descubrimos que nuestras chanclas se habían ido de donde las dejamos cerca de la plataforma de inicio 😂 quizás quieras dejar tus chanclas cerca de los casilleros. En general, una actividad muy divertida, ¡recomendada! Solo prepárate si vienes durante la temporada de lluvias.

It was a delightful time with Duy. We had many conversations, learned more about Vietnamese culture and nature, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience, including paddling along the Tác River, seeing the water coconut forest, enjoying passion fruit juice, and taking photos!

In Taiwan, it costs thousands of dollars, but in Vietnam, it's only a few hundred. I bought it without hesitation the moment I saw it. There are even drinks available while you're halfway through. It's great.

Una experiencia maravillosa que valió cada centavo gastado. El clima fue perfecto y el río estaba en calma. El guía turístico estuvo con nosotros todo el camino e incluso tomó fotos increíbles de todo el viaje. Definitivamente lo haré de nuevo 😁
