Oficina de Cerâmica e Olaria em Orchard Gateway

Era nuestro 19º aniversario de bodas y decidimos hacer una actividad linda para nuestra cita, así que optamos por este taller de cerámica. Éramos principiantes en la cerámica y no sabíamos qué esperar. Tuvimos a Zach, quien nos enseñó cómo hacerlo. Fue paciente y usó algunas analogías para explicar cómo funciona la cerámica. Eso nos hizo entender el proceso y nos dio más confianza mientras lo hacíamos. Realmente hizo que la experiencia fuera agradable. Ah, y también hicimos la cursi escena de la película "Ghost" solo por diversión y risas. Después de terminar nuestra cerámica, nos llevaron al área de pintura para pintar sus tazas prefabricadas. Fue realmente divertido, ya que pudimos pintar algo significativo para recordar este día. Tendremos que esperar de 3 a 5 meses para que ambas piezas pasen por el esmaltado y la cocción. No podemos esperar a regresar a recogerlas y ver nuestras obras de arte. Es realmente una linda idea para una cita. ¡Qué felices de haberla elegido!

This is my first time to join a Pottery Workshop. It was so much fun, from shaping the clay, hand-building and wheel throwing process. The Pottery Studio will do the firing it in a klin and glazing and we can pick it up in the 4-5 months later. The coach Zack was really nice and helpful. The studio location is really good and easy to find at Orchardgateway (Somerset Mrt). I will reccomend this activities to my friend and family and I will be back again soon.

I really enjoyed the workshop, which was divided into two segments: painting and throwing. The space is very comfortable, and the staff are friendly and patient! This was my second time back, and I'll be happy to come a third time!

Excellent activity. Relaxing and amazing experience. The staff are super friendly and approachable, giving guidance and motivation to sculpt the pottery of your liking. Recommended for both families, friends and couples for a fun and interesting activity.

It was a really fun experience and would totally go for it again! This would be our first time trying wheel throwing and the guided session was easy to follow and very helpful. The staff there were incredible and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

It was a great experience, facilitators were very nice and accommodating. We were late for about 20 mins but they still let us in for the session, even though it was the last session of the day. Clear instructions were given during the session and facilitators will help to take pics and videos on the session. There are options to hand-paint the finished product or get them to paint and glaze for you. Additional $5 for diy hand-paint, be prepared to go back another session for diy hand-paint. Or else just choose your preferred color from their selection of colors (can be two-toned) and wait 2-3 months to collect as the items needs to go through firing. Additional $10 for firing (per item)

The session was interesting! The staff was helpful and patient in guiding us, a group of 6, to create, select colors, and style our creations. This was our first pottery experience, and the final product looks great! Even though we need to wait a few months for the finished product to be ready.

It was a wonderful and relaxing time spent at the workshop. Learned about how pottery is done. Simple cup and bowl for the first try in my life. You will need to separately pay $10 per piece for firing and glazing. And additional $5 if you want to paint on it.

Comprado en oferta, así que valió la pena. 60 minutos para hacer 2 artículos por persona. La profesora fue muy paciente y amable, hizo bastante trabajo ya que teníamos que hacer 2 artículos. Los artículos tardarán unos meses en estar listos. Lo hicimos en julio, pero aún no nos han llamado para recoger los artículos.

¡Muy divertido! Los instructores fueron atentos y se aseguraron de que supiéramos qué hacer y nos ayudaron a corregir la forma si era demasiado fea, ¡lo pasamos genial!
