Some areas inside the ship remain as they were, and you can access various parts of the vessel, which I think military enthusiasts would enjoy. If you're not meticulously exploring every detail, you can probably see everything in about two hours. There can be terrible traffic jams leading to the parking lot, but it seems to be for people going to the passenger ship terminal further ahead. I went to the museum first thing in the morning, and there weren't many cars in the parking lot or many visitors. I'm not sure about access without a car, but if you're coming by car, I also recommend the USS Midway in San Diego, even though it's a bit far. (I visited both in one day, lol)

Excellent attraction, the volunteer guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Lots of things to see and I think you could spend half a day here if you’re into WW2/history

Children love it. Our family toured the ship for about 1.5 hours. The ticket price offered on Klook is quite good compared to buying directly.

A very worthwhile trip! It provided a detailed and fascinating introduction to the history of the USS Iowa, and there were also deck wood pieces left over from the renovation available as souvenirs to take home.
