Mergulho Básico para Iniciantes

I'm a regular diver and currently training to become a Divemaster with DiveGurus here in Boracay. I keep coming back because the team is genuinely amazing. They're experienced, supportive, and they really take the time to help you grow as a diver. The vibe is always friendly and relaxed, but everything is still run very professionally. The dive sites around Boracay are beautiful and the staff know them inside out. Every dive feels safe, fun, and worth it. I had my first basic diving course yesterday with DiveGurus Boracay, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, and Coach Joshua was exceptionally patient in teaching me the skills and guiding me throughout the dive. We explored Angol Point, which was absolutely mesmerizing. Coach Joshua also took amazing videos of me during the dive. While the videos weren’t included in the package, the extra Php 1,000 was well worth it to document this underwater adventure. I’d definitely come back for more dives in the future!

Ito ang ika-5 ko na DSD dive bago sumisid dito at bawat dive ay talagang sulit ang karanasan! Maraming salamat Kuya Jojo sa pagiging hands-on sa akin. Babalik ako para kumuha ng Open Water diving course ❤ ❤

I actually did several dives before diving here. However, since I have not yet obtained a diving license, I had to join the beginner course to be ready and approved to dive. The diving master is knowledgeable and very approachable. He had a discussion with me to understand my diving background before we started the training. I can tell he is a professional. He knows how to plan and adjust the training according to my needs, especially since I had some prior experience. Overall, it was a good experience because the master was excellent.

The instructor was very helpful and he guided me all throughout the dive. It was easier to communicate with him since he speaks english.

THE BEST!! Hindi lang eksperto sa diving sina Kuya Max at Kuya Dom, kundi masaya rin silang kasama sa paggalugad ng dagat. Sa simula ay kinakabahan kami sa buong karanasan ngunit ito pala ang pinakakapaki-pakinabang na aktibidad kailanman. Tinuruan nila kami nang maayos at binigyan kami ng kumpiyansa na kailangan namin. Gusto ko rin silang purihin sa pagiging maalaga dahil aksidenteng natapakan ng kapatid ko ang isang sea urchin papunta sa bangka ngunit napakalma nila siya at nagamot. Natuloy pa rin siya sa dive at kahit hindi niya masyadong maigalaw ang isang paa niya, sinigurado ni Kuya Max na makakapag-dive pa rin siya sa pamamagang ng pagtulong sa kanya sa buong dive. Hindi na ako makapaghintay na subukan ulit ito 😍

I’m not good at swimming and never done scuba diving before. The instructor was quite professional and patient. Despite having high anxiety in the beginning, he encouraged me to breathe slowly and steadily, helping me push through my comfort zone. Moments later, I was underwater, seeing fishes, and experiencing something that will remind me that I can push through my limit and fear. I highly recommend to try and be ready to step out of your comfort zone! You won’t regret it!

Tuvimos una experiencia increíble con DiveGurus Boracay durante la actividad de buceo básico para principiantes. El entrenador Stell y la entrenadora Pia fueron muy pacientes, comprensivos e hicieron que toda la inmersión se sintiera segura y agradable. Su guía hizo que fuera una excelente primera experiencia de buceo. Excelente servicio de principio a fin. ¡Altamente recomendado!

Darwin gave a very detailed and informative briefing of the safety measures first, then made sure we practiced essential skills before going further for the dive. The schedule was just slightly delayed but it’s all good!

The adventure kicked off on a Sunday morning, April 27, 2025. We were grinning through a mix of excitement and a hint of nervousness – but all set for the first scuba diving adventure. It was way cooler and comfier than we thought. We expected equalizing pressure in our ears to be a pain, but nope, it was a breeze. As we explored, the underwater world blew my mind. Colorful corals, fishes having a party, and feeling the soft sand under my feet – pure magic. ❤️ As a beginner, you will be assisted with an expert that will guide you through the underwater journey. Thank you to our best instructor JOSH of DIVEGURUS. We had the best experience and magical moment to witness the beauty underwater.🏖️☀️🤿
