The staff at Borneo Climb And Dive Sdn Bhd in Semporna were very friendly and helpful. Because I'm over 45, I needed a medical exam to enroll in either the OW or AOW courses. My instructor personally accompanied me to a nearby clinic for the checkup. I was fortunate to receive one-on-one instruction from my instructor during the OW course, who held me to a high standard of instruction. It was a fulfilling and memorable experience.

BAD service, BAD quality, BAD attitude 1. The course itinerary posted on Klook was incorrect, stating that Day 1 consisted solely of watching video courses and nothing else. Therefore, I didn't have my gear with me and had to waste time buying it upfront. My plan was to get swimsuits after the course for Day 1 and before Day 2 started, which, according to the Klook itinerary, should have been the first day to get into the water. 2. The instructor's attitude was terrible, blaming me for not having my gear. After arguing, they still insisted there was no problem on their side. My full knowledge of the course came solely from Klook, where they posted false information. I do not believe I should be reprimanded in this situation. 3. I went into the water without starting the e-learning, and another student wasn't wearing a wetsuit for the first two days of diving, which is against protocol and poses a potential risk. 4. On Day 2, the boat back to the mainland did not pick me up, even though I was sitting just 20 meters from the dock the entire time. They did compensate for this, but I had to share a room with another guest. For a diving company not to pick up a limited private customer should raise a red flag regarding their day-to-day quality management. 5. After completing the 3-day dive course, e-learning, and filling out all related forms online, it has been more than a week, and my PADI license has not been issued. My contact was not replying or was very slow in answering questions.
