[Seul] Tour guiado pelo Palácio Gyeongbokgung

It was so much fun!! Our guide was from Korea Bike Travel. I was happy to hear that, as I often used Korea Bike Travel guides overseas. I was so sure I knew Gyeongbokgung Palace well, but I realized there was so much I didn't know. After touring Gangnyeongjeon, Gyotaejeon, and Gyeonghoeru with their hidden histories, I felt like I wasn't even Korean ㅠㅠ. There were also no crowds at Gyeongbokgung, so it was a great time to take pictures :) I'll be taking the Changgyeonggung Night Tour soon too. Everyone, go!! You absolutely must go!!

Two hours flew by. I've grown to love Gyeongbokgung Palace even more. I'd love to hear it again.

If my child and I had toured Gyeongbokgung Palace alone, we would have rushed through it in 30-40 minutes. However, listening to the knowledgeable explanations of Guide Jung Hee-jin (from Bicycle Nara), we were able to explore it slowly and understand the meaning etched into each building, making it a very meaningful experience. In particular, we learned the new and interesting fact that King Sejong the Great, one of the greatest rulers, was born on May 15th, and that this day was designated as Teacher's Day to honor him, as he is truly deserving of respect in all fields. It was a rich and meaningful experience for both the children and the mothers.

This was the best time travel experience. On a sweltering morning, we met Guide Kim Hye-jeong from Korea Bike Travel at Gyeongbokgung Palace Exit 5! Even though our family was the only group there, she spoke passionately and thoroughly for two hours, allowing us to enjoy a journey back to the Joseon Dynasty. It had been a long time since I'd studied Korean history after my school days, so my memory was hazy, but I was completely engrossed in her kind and entertaining storytelling as we explored Gyeongbokgung Palace in order. It was impressive to learn that even the smallest details of the palace were built with meaning to enhance the legitimacy of the royal family, and that King Sejong's achievements were far greater than we knew. Despite the hot weather, she guided us with her best efforts and took wonderful photos at each photo spot, creating enjoyable memories with our children. We were sad to part ways with the guide after only saying goodbye, as it was almost our hotel checkout time. I wished I could have treated her to coffee in the heat, haha. Anyway, it was a choice with no regrets, so I highly recommend it. It will be a truly wonderful gift for parents and children.

This is a mother and child who took the tour with guide Jung Hee-jin. It was a class full of consideration and fun. She always explained things in the shade and helped the children not lose interest. She also took photos at good spots for pictures. Thank you for your hard work.

This was my first guided tour in Korea, and it was as satisfying as I expected! As they say, the more you know, the more you see, and listening to the explanations made it a much more fulfilling experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who's considering it.

Interpreter Han Sang-gyu explained everything in a fun and friendly way, making it easy for even elementary school students to understand. Despite the heat, we made wonderful memories. We'll come back when our second child is older. Thank you.

I visited with my child, and it was wonderful how considerate, kind, and gentle everyone was. After listening to the commentary, Gyeongbokgung Palace felt new to me.
