We really enjoyed the tour and our guide, Nam. We were surprised that the tour was in English and Russian, as Nam speaks both languages very well. This was unexpected. We had a great time. It was my first motorbike ride, and I was nervous, but everything went safely.

John was really great! Friendly and informative! The tour took us to the banana and guava trees, plus we saw some pomelo trees! Making pottery was really hard but seeing how the master did it was so effortless! The cafe for lunch was great! Just the right amount of food and a great atmosphere!

It was an amazing experience exploring the lesser-known parts of Hanoi. The motorbike ride was thrilling, and our guide, Chris was friendly and passionate. The visit to the local ceramics factory was eye-opening, giving us a deep insight into the preservation of this unique craft. A true highlight of the tour was visiting a local home and learning about daily life there—it was an invaluable experience. The trip wrapped up with a meal at Hidden Gem concepts, offering delicious food that’s hard to find anywhere else in the city.

This tour, starting at a hidden cafe, begins with a perfect meal. The food, cooked by a former 5-star hotel chef, offers a taste of the pinnacle of Vietnamese cuisine. My guide, Duc, spoke perfect English, and his driving was dynamic yet safe. Visiting the pottery village, ancient houses, and the oldest bridge were all incredibly valuable experiences. If you plan to buy pottery, make sure to leave some extra space in your bag.

This is a wonderful trip that can explore the countryside of Hanoi. Duc is an excellent tour guide and gave us a very detailed explanation. He is also a good driver, and they both make a great team for this trip.

I had a 5-day itinerary in Hanoi and wanted a special experience, so I took the "Hanoi Countryside Vintage Minsk Motorcycle Tour." I also visited Bat Trang, a pottery village. Although I couldn't keep what I made, the hands-on experience was great. Before the tour, I had a simple meal at Gem Cafe, which has a really beautiful interior. It's tucked away in a corner, so it would have been hard to find if I wasn't a local, but it was a pleasant discovery. Our guide, Louis, was incredibly kind and spoke excellent English. He explained everything thoroughly and asked if I had any further questions. My driver, Bob, also spoke some English compared to other drivers, which was good. He drove very safely too! Even though I don't speak much English, we communicated and chatted during the journey. We visited the home of a friend's grandfather in Bat Trang village, where we talked and tasted his homemade rice wine, which was quite delicious – it reminded me of sake. Thanks to this, I had a truly special and enjoyable time. I'd give it not 5, but 10, or even 100 stars! 🌟 *** Oh, and sunglasses are a must. The sun is strong, and the dusty wind is no joke. I didn't bring any, so I felt like I had my eyes half-closed the whole time, haha.

Hanoi Countryside Motorbike Tour, Vietnam. It was an amazing half-day experience, full of joy, exchanging stories and experiences, a great team from Hanoi Backstreet Tours making sure we were comfortable, especially with young kids onboard, helping them overcome their fears and ensuring the kids felt safe to step out of their comfort zone and feel the joy of seeing places via bike. Morning breeze through the Red River Bridge, a visit to the pottery factory, molding clay into beautiful art using creativity and freedom of expression, exploring the local communal hall at Bat Trang, enjoying local sugarcane and corn, and finishing off with amazing Vietnamese egg chocolate coffee, iced Vietnamese coffee, and TJ… being TJ, closing the lunch session with Vietnamese wedding liquor 🤣.

One of my best trips ever, I truly enjoyed it. Both guides, Jack and Bob, were very friendly and provided a lot of explanations during the visit... and the food was great too😊
