Honestly, this was incredible. They arrange pickup and drop-off, so it’s super easy. Our guide was amazing, really patient and explained everything so well. Hats off to that guy. Paddling through those giant mangroves felt surreal, and even when it started raining, it only made the experience cooler. I’d say go in the evening if the weather’s good, or daytime if it’s not too hot. For the price, it’s totally worth it. Definitely recommending this to anyone visiting!

We went to watch the sunset, but on the day we went, it was gloomy and drizzling, so we didn't get to see it. However, it was a nice and enjoyable experience, and we got to meet other people. We also saw a few monkeys.

I liked everything very much! At the end of the tour, the organizers treat all the participants to a watermelon 🍉 It was nice! There were no problems with the transfer, the driver and future guide picks you up from the hotel to the final point. Cons that I can highlight. The tour lasts very little time. You don't have time to enjoy everything. I highly recommend coming on your own and renting a kayak with no time limit. Search on Google maps by the words: Ao Thalane Kayak Krabi. As part of a group, you often want to stop and enjoy the place, but there is no opportunity. The tour guide does not tell you anything along the way, but only accompanies the group. I recommend coming at sunset. This is the most beautiful and comfortable time

La recogida fue temprano en una furgoneta espaciosa y agradable. El número de participantes fue el justo. Había 2 guías con nosotros y después de la sesión informativa, partimos. El equipo estaba a la altura. Fue una experiencia muy, muy agotadora para los que son nuevos en el kayak, pero la vista valió la pena el esfuerzo. Los guías fueron pacientes y tuvimos suerte, ya que era la marea viva, así que pudimos maniobrar en las partes menos profundas del manglar. Realmente lo recomendaría, pero primero verifique la marea para obtener la experiencia completa.

We were thankful we managed to do this completely, even though the weather forecasted heavy rains from around 11am. Initially it was fun, but a bit difficult 1-third of the way as the rains started. The last 1-third was really scary with heavy pouring rains, winds and waves, as we did this just in time and left Krabi the next day, before the major storms hit Thailand with a low pressure depression causing heavy storm in the whole of Thailand. Nevertheless, thankfully the strong winds abated and rains became lighter and we managed to finish even though we were out in the sea away from coast to get back to the coast. I would advise to not go during strong rains as it is difficult to paddle against wind and waves, and it is scary if the winds push you out to sea. We followed the guide, but really the effort is all on you.

After reading everyone's reviews, I was worried that I don't usually exercise and my stamina isn't great, so I considered hiring a helper to paddle for us. However, the shop required two people per boat, and the cost for a helper was 300*2=600 baht. For our group of six, with three boats, it would have been 1800 baht. So, we decided to save money and paddle ourselves slowly. Perhaps because there were only two of us, or because we were paddling, taking photos, and recording videos at the same time, we didn't experience any arm soreness. Instead, we gained many rare experiences and memories by doing it ourselves. The only thing was that the guide kept reminding me in English that the activity was only a two-hour paddling experience. To avoid him repeatedly bothering me with reminders, I ended up paddling hard to be in the top three, avoiding last place. The scenery is quite beautiful, and it's a very special experience. I recommend wearing a swimsuit because clothes can easily get wet from the waves, and you can bring a change of clothes. There are shower rooms on site. Because we didn't bring a change of clothes, we sat in the slightly wet swimsuits in the songthaew (pickup truck taxi) for about 30 minutes, with the wind blowing. Afterward, some family members caught a cold. So, I recommend bringing clothes to change into at the site.

La recogida fue relativamente cercana a la hora indicada. Disfrutamos mucho del recorrido por los manglares. Fue una cantidad de tiempo razonable en el agua. Hay un par de puntos de descanso para disfrutar de la vista. ¡Cuidado con los monos porque saltarán a tu kayak!

Loved every bit of this nature tour. We were the only people in the tour so it was like a private tour for us. The sound of the water and the sleeping nature is soothing to your ear. I guess the only place where you could kayak inside the mangrove forests.
