Excursão de vinhos Hop-On Hop-Off no Vale Barossa saindo de Adelaide

I had an absolute great time with TrailHopper. At first, I was not sure about how this would work but it is basically a shuttle bus that goes around winery stops in loop (check out TrailHopper website for details). Anyhow, I want to rave about TrailHopper, which is that you get to experience the Aussie wine culture with easy access but at the same time Nathan, our tour guide, will enrich your knowledge about the Australian wine, South Australia/Australia, and so many other things. Making friends with other tourists is another bonus. Lastly but not least, i also have to recommend Rusden for your must-stop-for-tasting. Their cab sav and Zinfandel blew my mind!! Definately coming back to Adeliade and joining another tour by TrailHopper. Thank you Nathan and Cherie for the amazing trip to happen!

The Barossa Valley tour using Trail Hopper was fantastic! 😆 I could freely choose which wineries to visit, and the winery tasting fees were excellent value for money, haha. If you don't spend too long on lunch, you can visit up to 4 wineries, assuming you spend an hour at each! The bus driver and guide were also really friendly and fun. I was the only Asian person, and most others were Australians, but I had a great time without any discomfort. I tasted so much wine that I returned to my accommodation completely drunk, lol. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves wine! Especially make sure to visit Rusden ^^

It's okay if you haven't booked a winery, there are very few people, just go directly for a tasting. Penfolds Winery charges $20 for 6 tastings, while Yalumba Winery charges $10. I think Rusden is the best, even though it's a niche brand. There are restaurants in Angaston after you get off the bus. Eating at the wineries is too expensive, so it's better to eat in this small town. I recommend the pizza place.

An amazing way to visit the Valley, especially if you don't drive or are concerned with your drink. Lots of great wineries visited, especially loved Rusden and the gin distillery.

¡Me encanta la idea de subir y bajar del autobús! Logramos visitar 4 lugares de nuestra elección. ¡Fue muy divertido! Nos encantaron las paradas en St Hallett y Lambert. St Hallett ofrecía vino a un precio muy asequible; Lambert tenía el vino blanco más rico, del que nos arrepentimos de haber comprado solo 1 (deberíamos haber comprado más...).

The day tour service is primarily about transportation, as you cannot drive while intoxicated. They offer a very detailed and efficient hop-on/hop-off schedule with a variety of options, so you might need some time to study and understand it. They also provide background information for each winery (e.g., price for wine tasting) to help you choose your stops. Technically, you can visit a maximum of four places, staying for an hour at each. If you have no preference or can't decide where to go, the tour guide is also helpful in offering suggestions. However, I recommend studying the information sheet in advance, as you might be disappointed if you don't like a place and have to stay for an hour. Aside from wine tasting, don't expect too much from that region, as it's a rural area with not much to see beyond wine drinking. Recommended if you want to relax and drink for a day.
