We opted for the special NLL tour for a group of 5 because we wanted to see more. We were pleasantly surprised that it was a private tour for our group! Yun, our guide was awesome! He is conversant in English and shared interesting nuggets about military history. We also had the privilege of a skillful driver who maneuvered through narrow roads to see the off-the-beaten-track sites of Deokpojin Fort and Nurigil Road. We highly recommend the special tour because of the scenic beauty and the historical-political significance of the places. Thanks to Yun and our driver, we had a wonderful time!
We were lucky enough to have a private tour for our group of six. The tour guide was incredibly attentive, had a wealth of historical knowledge, and deepened our understanding of the background stories of each attraction.
Overall, the trip was good, but the weather was bad, so it was a pity we couldn't see North Korea. The tour guide was very professional and explained all the itineraries in detail (English-speaking guide). Just before I wanted to give 5 stars, the guide and driver took us back to a ginseng shop in Seoul. It was one of those shopping places where tour groups take customers into a small room to buy local specialties. My two children and I were stunned by this unscheduled arrangement.
The guide was very friendly and patient. Lunch was good. I like the trip a lot! Will use Klook again.
The tour guide told us many stories during the trip. I think it is interesting if you are interested in the military.
Friends who love military history and are interested in the history of the Korean War should not miss this! The guide shared some fascinating stories about the North-South Korean War, which was truly eye-opening.
I originally booked the special NLL tour and paid through bank deposit. Unfortunately, I was informed later that it’s not available during our visit. So we changed to Standard NLL tour. But because of my mode of payment I didn’t get a refund. So I recommend you always pay through credit card or PayPal when using Klook. About the tour itself it was fine. Kelly, our guide was nice. It was a private tour, just our family of 7. So it’s convenient and comfortable. The only thing I was sad about is we didn’t get to step by the iron fence zone. When I read back the itinerary it states “drive by”. Then I realized why. Is it worth it? I think so. I always count the experience itself as something I should treasure.
