Experiência de Salto Duplo de Paraquedas em Byron Bay

Primeira experiência em paraquedismo. Toda a equipe foi muito gentil e amigável. Meu instrutor de salto duplo, Adriano, sempre verificava se eu estava bem durante todo o salto. Obrigado a todos por tornarem minha primeira experiência tão memorável :)

Before participating, I hesitated for a long time about whether to join. Would I be scared and worried about safety issues? The result was an unforgettable experience! From the meeting point, it was a long drive, about 3 hours, to the destination with staff pick-up, which seemed longer than expected. Then, the staff meticulously guided me through the preparations for skydiving, explaining everything and ensuring safety. Leaping from 15,000 feet, there was no chance to hesitate or back down, making me a braver person! The view of Byron Bay from high above was truly breathtaking, with its long coastline, azure ocean, and sky. It will be a scene I will never forget!

A fantastic experience! The hotel shuttle was very punctual for both pick-up and drop-off, and we didn't have to wait long upon arrival. The staff explained everything very clearly, which made us feel very reassured 😆

I booked this with two friends who can't even ride amusement park rides properly, and I thought I was wasting money. They kept saying things like, "I can't believe we paid for this," "It's dangerous," and "I wish the weather was cloudy." But in the end, they enjoyed it even more than I did! This was my second time, after doing it once in the Czech Republic, and it's truly amazing. The scenery is absolutely insane, though honestly, you don't really have time to appreciate it while you're up there. But when you watch the videos or look at the photos, you'll see what I mean. When you're waiting at the pickup spot, it's obvious which bus is for skydiving. After it's all over, everyone gets back on the bus to return, and we were back in Gold Coast by around 2 PM. There's a time difference between Byron Bay and Gold Coast, by the way! Anyway, if you're in Gold Coast, you absolutely have to do this. Not just the skydiving, but the views from the small plane are truly incredible.

There's a shuttle bus service. Upon arrival, you register and can purchase photos and videos; only credit cards are accepted locally. Afterwards, you wait for your name to be called, which will be displayed on a screen in English. The instructor will help you put on your safety gear, and then you'll watch a video to learn how to land. After that, you'll board a small plane, fly for 10 minutes, and then descend over the center of the sea. There's no feeling of weightlessness, but it's extremely windy, and the first jump can be quite frightening. Once you jump, you can relax and enjoy the scenery; the parachute opens quickly, allowing you to admire the view for a bit longer. The return bus only departs after everyone has jumped. You might have to wait until noon to head back.

This experience was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, I was filled with excitement, and it only got better from there. Skydiving has always been on my bucket list, and it was definitely worth the wait – a lifetime memory for sure. The team at Skydive Australia in Byron Bay was fantastic, especially my instructor, DJ, who was incredibly helpful and made me feel completely at ease. Everything was well-organized and professional, and the scenery was breathtaking. If you're thinking about skydiving, I highly recommend this experience. It’s exhilarating, awe-inspiring, and something you’ll never forget!

Punctual 7:30 pick-up. Byron Bay is one hour ahead of Queensland, so the actual skydiving time was 1:30 PM Queensland time. During the waiting period, we could only play with the shop dog, and we had to prepare our own lunch as only water and a snack/drink vending machine were available on-site. We returned to the original hotel at 5 PM after everyone had skydived. My ears hurt a lot during the skydive due to the high speed, and the moisture from the clouds hitting my face was also painful, but the entire process felt very safe, and interacting with the instructor was a lot of fun. It was an unforgettable experience!

We drove ourselves from Gold Coast to Byron Bay. It has a cozy waiting area for non-jumpers. Do prepare some snacks in case there's a big crowd. Wonderful view and awesome staff.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Enjoy the thrill of high speed and beautiful scenery! The only downside is that if there are many people signed up, you'll have to wait for everyone in the vehicle to finish jumping before returning to the hotel. We waited almost 4 hours on-site, and including travel time back and forth, you'll need to set aside a total of 6-7 hours.
