I had a wonderful experience with HeliDubai at the Dubai Police Academy. The helicopter tour takes 12 minutes, and the pilot is very skilled and experienced. I took many pictures and videos with my phone, including The Palm, Burj Al Arab, the beach, and so on.

It was a good experience to see Dubai City from a helicopter, but the photo package is very expensive. I would recommend it to my friends if the price of the photo packages could be cheaper, given that the helicopter experience itself is already not cheap.

It was such a memorable experience seeing Dubai from such point of view. However, I feel like they can lower the prices of both the ride and the photos/videos. Unforgettable but could be priced reasonably next time.

You need to arrive 40 minutes early to weigh in, watch a video (available in Chinese), and then wait. I had already boarded the helicopter, but for some reason, I was asked to get off and told to take the next flight. I was completely confused ❓ But luckily, they upgraded me 😦 My original 17-minute flight turned into 30 minutes without any extra charge! And I was assigned the co-pilot's seat! It was amazing! Plus, the photos look so cool, I'm practically Tom Cruise 🕶️

Taking a helicopter ride is fun, worthwhile, and very comfortable. The only thing to note is that the meeting point is at the entrance of the police academy. It's very hot, so remember to use WhatsApp to inform them of your arrival, and a car will be sent to pick you up. This is because the helicopter counter is inside the police academy, and you cannot walk in directly unless you are driving.
