Europe's winter is truly freezing 🥶. Today, visiting ARTIS Royal Zoo, even the big guys who roam the wild forests 🐅🦍🦒🐘 were frozen stiff. Simba the lion 🦁 and his family preferred to hide in the greenhouse to escape the cold, and Kingkong 🦧 was in a daze, saying hi to everyone~ A very funny collection of lazy zoo photos 😂!

First, the zoo is located in the city center, so if you're traveling in Amsterdam with children, you won't regret visiting. Although it's a very old zoo, the trees and animals were in harmony, and rather than having many animals to see, it's a friendly zoo where you can interact with them. I highly recommend it if you have enough time to spare while traveling in Amsterdam. Klook Booking Convenience: Scan your ticket at the entrance and enter immediately. Service: There were staff members everywhere to help and explain things, and there were several places to get snacks, which was great. Facilities: It's clean, but since there are animals, there are some sections where the smell is quite strong. Experience: There were many birds, and I could see giraffes, wallabies, gorillas, etc., up close. Price: I thought the price was a bit expensive before entering, but it's definitely worth it.

Small but nicely designed city zoo. Very suitable for kids. Some building work ongoing at the moment. Would be nice to see the animals with a little more space.

Despite the cold weather and light drizzle, it was very worthwhile overall. Although it was cold, the park staff were always nearby, and when you couldn't find an animal, they would kindly tell you where it was hiding. In addition to animals, plants, and insects, there's also a planetarium where you can listen to explanations of celestial phenomena. It's definitely worth a visit.

It is not a big zoo, but it is good for children to walk around. The zoo was very clean and not many people were there. You can plan 2-3 hours to walk around the zoo. The insect garden was really educational for kids to learn something new.
