If you’re visiting Pokhara, I highly recommend trying an ultralight flight. It’s not just an activity—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime perspective of Nepal’s natural beauty that you simply can’t get any other way.
This one-hour trip was very satisfying. At first, when we took off, it was all foggy, and I thought we wouldn't see anything. But after we broke through the clouds, I was incredibly moved; the pristine white peaks appeared directly before my eyes. The whole process was very comfortable, and one hour was just right. The GoPro video quality was also excellent, and I highly recommend adding it on for the price!
Taking an ultralight flight in Pokhara was easily one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment the tiny aircraft lifted off the runway, I felt a mix of excitement and awe—there’s something incredibly freeing about being in such a small, open cockpit with nothing but sky around you.

Although it was my first time experiencing a light helicopter, it wasn't as breathtaking as I imagined. It was only 15 minutes, and I felt there wasn't much difference from looking out from a high floor of my own hotel. Moreover, the instructor was incredibly precise with the timing; we were really down in less than 15 minutes. You can directly book this through many travel agencies in Pokhara, which is much cheaper.
I waited at the domestic airport in the morning, but the visibility was not ideal for flying. They fully refunded my money. Follow my Instagram for more @bryanthui.
Highly recommend Avia Club Nepal! What an experience! I wish I was in the skies for a longer time to appreciate the beauty of Pokhra! But Avia Club Nepal did a wonderful job to make sure that I had a great time in the skies and on the ground! Kudos! Will be coming back again!

Paragliding जितना मजेदार नहीं है, लेकिन अगर आप पोखरा में हैं तो एक बार कोशिश करने लायक है। सुबह का समय होता तो नज़ारे और भी अच्छे होते।
I was a little nervous at first, but after flying above the clouds and seeing the magnificent scenery, I couldn't help but be completely captivated!
