The driver contacted us via Whatsapp and email one day in advance regarding the hotel pickup. Today, it was just the two of us, and the company didn't cancel the tour, which we were very impressed by. The driver upgraded us from a minivan to an Alphard, making the 2-3 hour journey much more relaxing. The driver picked us up at the hotel at 8:00 AM, arriving at our first destination, Arakurayama Sengen Park, at 9:50 AM. The uphill walk was quite tiring if you rushed, but the downhill was very comfortable. We stopped to buy takoyaki and strawberries at the bottom. Our second stop was Lawson. We chose to walk down a side street to take photos by the train tracks first, then returned to take photos at the front, where we had to queue to get a good view for everyone. The driver bought us water and pudding to try. Thank you for your kindness! The driver asked if we were hungry at 11:30 AM, so we had lunch not far from Lawson, taking an hour. Then we traveled 50 minutes to Lake Tanuki. The weather was cool and windy; unfortunately, Mount Fuji was obscured by clouds on this side, but the atmosphere was peaceful with few tourists. We spent about an hour there and then traveled another 10 minutes to a farm. The entrance fee was 1200 yen, and animal feed was 100 yen per serving. We had two hours there. The driver was Chinese but spoke fluent English.

This trip included four excellent attractions, and my children were particularly delighted with Makaino Farm. Lake Tanuki was a pleasant surprise, with Mount Fuji looking beautiful in front of the lake. Next was the picturesque Lawson convenience store at Lake Kawaguchiko, a great spot for photos. The only downside was that the time spent at Arakurayama Sengen Park was too short, and my children didn't get to go up the Chureito Pagoda.

It was a great day trip experience. Our driver and guide, Master Shi, was very attentive. He explained each attraction before we arrived, managed the schedule perfectly, and was happy to take photos for us. We were truly grateful to see Mount Fuji despite the unstable weather 🙏

If you could spend 2 hours at Arakurayama Sengen Park, it would be more satisfying, as there are many photo spots and local delicacies there, and the limited time prevented us from fully enjoying them.

Today, we completed our Mount Fuji day trip. We were so lucky to see Mount Fuji 🗻! The vehicle was comfortable, and our driver, Master Shi, drove steadily and safely. He was also very knowledgeable, which was great. However, we felt that Lake Tanuki lacked scenic value as a stop, and we had 80 minutes there. Our family only stayed for 10 minutes before wanting to get back in the car to rest. We informed Master Shi early, and he was able to arrange for us to get back in the car sooner. Thumbs up! 👍🏻

The itinerary is relaxed, and the view of Mount Fuji from Makaino Farm is absolutely beautiful.

The driver's attitude was excellent, friendly, and polite. The itinerary was rich, but the visiting time at each attraction could be a bit longer, especially at the ranch, where there wasn't enough time. Overall, it was still very good, and the children loved it.

This trip was still great. I think the attractions are quite spread out, so having a tour guide is especially important for introductions. Coming to Mount Fuji from Tokyo is quite a hassle, but booking this one-day tour was much better than I expected. A very pleasant surprise!
