We joined a one-day tour in Furano, and the itinerary was very smooth throughout the day. Although there were many attractions and the pace was a bit fast, enough time was allocated at each location for taking photos and eating, so the arrangement was perfectly fine. Before departing, I saw some reviews mentioning that people might get hungry, but in fact, there were things to buy and eat at every attraction along the way—Hokkaido white corn is super sweet, melon bread is fragrant and soft, and croquettes are also delicious, so there's absolutely no need to worry about hunger. Special praise goes to our tour guide, Chillin! The group included foreigners, Japanese, Chinese, and Hong Kongers, and she was able to communicate with everyone in their respective languages. Her explanations were clear and friendly, which created a great atmosphere for the entire group. The luckiest part was that all group members were incredibly punctual, so the timing at each stop was perfectly controlled, with no delays at all. The tour guide also gave tips at the attractions on which souvenirs were worth buying, which were cheap, and which offered high value for money, which was very practical for those who struggle with shopping! Overall, this tour offers great value for money and is recommended for anyone who wants to visit multiple classic attractions in one day.
Our tour guide, James, was very professional and enthusiastic in assisting the group members with their needs. The weather forecast for Furano predicted intermittent sunshine and rain, so we waited until the day before to confirm that the afternoon would be clear before deciding to book the tour. A one-day tour solved many transportation and itinerary planning worries. If you can accept a tight schedule, it's highly recommended to visit so many photo spots in one day. However, it might be better to compress the earlier itinerary a bit more to allow more time for Farm Tomita, as we arrived there around 5 PM, but by 5:30 PM, we were asked to leave due to pesticide spraying. The upside was that there were fewer people, and the sunlight near sunset was softer. Fortunately, we managed to take photos with the lavender just in time.
The tour guide was interesting and easy to talk to, which created a great atmosphere on the bus. It also helped that the weather was perfect on the day I went, but the timing of our visits was impeccable, allowing us to see all the spots in their best condition! Plus, even though a lot of sand, mud, and fallen leaves would get tracked into the bus by everyone, the driver would meticulously clean it every time we arrived at a spot with a longer stay. The soft-serve ice cream at the snowmobile location and the croquettes near Shirohige Falls are truly delicious!😋
We joined the 11:00 tour. It was absolutely wonderful! The weather was cool, and we enjoyed the illuminated atmosphere of Ningle Terrace. Our guide, Chillin, shared the history and characteristics of each spot in Hokkaido along the way. Besides having a great time, we also made sure to savor local delicacies and do some shopping! You can even see a small amount of lavender after mid-August. I highly recommend this one-day tour.
I really, really enjoyed this itinerary ☺️. I was afraid it would be very rushed, but the trip turned out to be very well-paced. Our guide, Chillin, was so friendly and gave us lots and lots of good tips to make the most out of each stop, which I really appreciated 💕. Even though we missed the lavender season and the weather was indeed very hot and sunny, I still really enjoyed the trip! I would highly recommend this day trip package. 👍🏻
This was a great itinerary! The tour covered a good number of places that would have been impossible by public transit and without the worries and hassles of renting a car and navigating unfamiliar roads. Even though we were a full bus tour, everyone was very respectful of each other and arrived on time to leave for the next point of interest. Lucy was friendly and engaging. Her sense of humor made the time in the bus pass quickly. She provided interesting information on all the areas we visited and gave useful tips on how to maximize our time most efficiently. At first look, it may seem like the itinerary is rushed, but we were very happy with the pace of the tour and felt the time was just right at each locale. Even though there was a delay by the eatery at lunch (restaurant’s fault), Lucy kindly reassured us and waited patiently for everyone to receive their lunch. Tip: use cash at the ticket machine. Don’t use the QR codes to pay using a credit card.
Today, our family of four participated in a day tour to Blue Pond, Shirogane Blue Pond, Shirahige Waterfall, and Shikisai-no-Oka, and we had a very enjoyable and satisfying time. Our guide, Aoki, was fluent in both Chinese and English, had a pleasant voice, explained the itinerary clearly, managed and controlled the time well, and was happy to introduce and help group members take beautiful photos together. If you are traveling to Hokkaido independently but don't want to drive and wish to visit the four aforementioned places, I highly recommend Aoki's day tour. It offers comfortable and clean tourist bus transfers, a professional guide like Aoki to arrange the itinerary, and recommendations for local snacks, allowing you to easily enjoy a rich itinerary.
Our tour guide, Jenny, provided an excellent experience. Her explanations were very detailed, helping us understand the local culture. She spoke Chinese, English, and Japanese exceptionally well, and assisted us smoothly with any questions we had. Seeing the vast lavender fields was incredibly beautiful, and the Elf Terrace was a very special place!
Despite the rain, I still had a wonderful time on this trip. Our tour guide, Mr. Andy, was kind enough to take my pictures since I was traveling alone. During the trip, he provided so many insights about Furano and Biei. Overall, he is a great tour guide. Thank you, Mr. Andy, for all your hard work.
