[Hokkaido, Pesca no Gelo em Sapporo] Experiência de Pesca de Peixe-prata em Sapporo

It was an amazing experience! Everything was explained very well, and the trip itself was very simple: we were picked up at the station, it was a simple drive to the location, then we went straight into fishing! The instructor also gave us heating packs, which was a lovely (and much-needed) surprise! When I struggled to catch fish, he helped me one-on-one and coached me, and I caught a few afterward.

It was our family’s first smelt fishing and it was a fantastic experience for us. We were told that many operators decided to cancel due to season ending and the ice is melting. Our provider, decided to go ahead with extra safety measure (woke up at 4am to prepare a walking path for us to cross the river) in place as he saw that we were traveling with a kid and he did not want to disappoint him. Such dedication is exemplary! Thank you for making it such a wonderful experience for my family. Last but not least, the smelt were so good!! The best fried fish I ever had! 😋

The tour was well organized, and the guide was very kind. They explained how to fish on the bus before we reached the fishing area. They drove us to a safer area where the ice was thicker and less crowded, so we had a high chance of catching more smelt fish. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and they fried the smelt fish, which tasted so crunchy and delicious. I recommend bringing a small bottle of sake with you to go with the fried smelt fish.

A great choice for parent-child activities. We departed on time, the guide provided detailed explanations, even beginners caught fish, and the fried fish was fresh and delicious. Both adults and children had a wonderful time. Highly recommended, highly recommended!!

My family and I had a fantastic time with Amik driving us and teaching us how to fish on the day! His knowledge and expertise were super helpful, he's very friendly. Babu helped cook up the delicious smelt afterwards. According to Amik catching 10 smelt is good, and 20 is great! And the record holder for the season so far is 87 smelt caught. We were lucky and collectively managed to catch 51 fish! It was a blast! The trick is to have your lure just under the ice about 60-70cmish and when you see the lure slightly twinge, to pull up your entire line (don't reel it in!) 10/10 was an experience we will never forget :) Thanks Amik and Babu! We had a great time!

It was a fantastic experience. The scenery was incredibly beautiful, and both the driver and the guide were exceptionally kind people. They patiently taught us how to use the harness and how to bait the hooks. In the end, the fish were made into delicious fried fish.

An unforgettable experience! The tour guide was very enthusiastic, punctual, and took great care of every customer. He patiently and meticulously explained fishing techniques, making ice fishing an enjoyable activity even for children. We caught several fish, including some quite large ones. The tempura at the end was a perfect touch.

We took our 2 kids aged 3 and 6 to ice fishing. The tour started on time and it was a pleasant half hour drive to the Barrato river. We had a good day and caught about 20-30 smelt fish. They fried it up at the end of the session and the kids loved it. Amek was polite and patient with us. I wasn’t feeling too well at the end of the day and Amek went above and beyond to help us get back to our hotel. Many thanks Amek, and we hope to be back for the fourth time next year :)
