This was a very fulfilling and unforgettable one-day trip. Although the journey started with light rain and then snow flurries along the way, perhaps it was precisely this change in weather that added a touch of romance and surprise to the entire trip. Fortunately, when we arrived at each attraction, the weather cleared up, making the scenery even more captivating. The performance of our tour guide, Sakuragi, was impressive. Not only could she switch seamlessly between Chinese and English, but her explanations were also very professional and thoughtful. From the scenery along the way to the lake cities across Japan, she narrated everything eloquently, making the entire journey not just sightseeing, but a rich cultural experience. The experience on the small train was quite unique and distinctive. The only slight regret was that the clouds were thick that day, preventing us from seeing the complete panoramic view of Mount Fuji. However, the mountain silhouette vaguely appearing through the clouds added a touch of hazy poetic beauty. When visiting Arakurayama Sengen Park, the internet-famous photo spot—Chureito Pagoda—was still highly anticipated. However, to reach the observation deck, one must climb over four hundred steps, which indeed requires some physical stamina. But upon reaching the top and overlooking the scenery, all the effort became worthwhile. The cable car experience was equally memorable; as it slowly ascended, the landscape unfolded layer by layer before our eyes, uplifting our spirits. Overall, this was a thoughtfully planned and content-rich one-day itinerary, well worth experiencing and reminiscing about. However, since most attractions require walking a certain distance after getting off the vehicle, and even climbing stairs, it might be necessary for elderly travelers or those with limited mobility to assess their physical condition before making arrangements.

2025/02/09 Scenery Along the Way From downtown Tokyo, the towering peak of Mount Fuji was faintly visible. As the bus approached Otsuki Station, the mountain's silhouette became clearer. It wasn't until we passed several mountain ranges that we finally witnessed the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. We were incredibly lucky; the sky was completely clear, not a single cloud in sight. Just the day before, downtown Tokyo had experienced rare heavy snowfall, and today, arriving in the Mount Fuji area, the sight of snow-covered ground bathed in sunlight was truly worthwhile. This is my fourth time in Tokyo, and it's the first time I've seen such a magnificent view that gave me goosebumps. Time and Effort Saving Before planning this trip, I originally intended to take the train slowly to Mount Fuji. However, after evaluating transportation costs and convenience, I found that a round-trip train ticket would cost about 1000 TWD (5000 JPY). This one-day tour, on the other hand, not only included a guide but also provided bus transportation to our destination, so we didn't have to worry about not finding seats on the train. I believe this was a very cost-effective choice. One-Day Tour Guide My friend and I signed up for the tour on February 9th. Our guide was Vera (Fusan). Vera was already waiting at the meeting point near Tokyo Station early. She could communicate in Chinese, English, and Japanese. Although most of the passengers on the bus were Chinese, there were one or two groups of Europeans and Americans, so Vera introduced attractions and gave instructions in both languages throughout the trip, also considering them when sharing her collected picture cards. Journey Transportation The bus driver's skills were quite good; we could feel the speed, yet it didn't compromise comfort. The outbound journey from Tokyo Station to the first stop, Shimo-Yoshida Station, took only about an hour and a half, much faster than expected. However, on the return journey, perhaps due to rush hour, we encountered traffic jams intermittently, and only arrived back at Tokyo Station around 6 PM, about half an hour later than originally planned. However, this is an unavoidable factor, so it was expected. Overall Thoughts If I could rate this trip out of 10, I would give it a 10. This is because it required enough luck, perfect timing, geographical advantage, and the right people to witness this miraculous beauty with Vera and everyone else.

Today's itinerary was extremely satisfying, and our luck was also incredibly good. Overall 100/10! We took photos of everything we wanted to see and saw everything we wanted to see. An unforgettable day! Overall, today is 100 out of 10. We really enjoyed and were happy for the entire time. We went to all the places, and every view could be seen. Took a lot of pictures… Thanks to our tour guide… Mandy… she is very passionate, kind, and made sure all of us enjoyed the itinerary… enjoyed the entire time… told us about all the things we needed to know and made sure we all received the message. More than that, she even helped us adjust the itinerary to ensure we got the best experience. A perfect itinerary with the best tour.

We had an amazing time on this tour! The itinerary was well organized, and every stop had breathtaking views. We had a good amount of time to explore, take photos, grab food and snacks, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy each location without feeling rushed. It’s a great experience for families and anyone visiting Japan. A huge shoutout to our tour guide, Matt! He spoke both English and Mandarin, was incredibly friendly, funny, and always willing to answer questions and help guide us throughout the day. He made the bus ride enjoyable with his great personality and made the entire experience even more fun. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our Japan trip. Throughout the entire trip, her professionalism and thoughtfulness made this Mount Fuji journey an excellent experience: Smooth itinerary, precise time management: This trip had a rich itinerary, and we visited popular photo spots along the way, such as the Hinokawa Clock Shop and the internet-famous convenience store. Mandy managed the time perfectly, not only leading us to smoothly experience the special small train but also later going to Lake Yamanaka to feed swans, and finally concluding with a pleasant boat ride on Lake Kawaguchiko. The entire pace was very comfortable, with no feeling of being rushed. Excellent photography assistant and safety guardian: When taking photos at the internet-famous convenience store and the Hinokawa Clock Shop, Mandy was not only super patient in helping everyone take stunning photos of Mount Fuji from the best angles but also very responsibly reminded group members to pay attention to traffic safety, which made everyone feel very secure. Thoughtful and meticulous care: Whether feeding swans at Lake Yamanaka or during the final boat trip, she always enthusiastically attended to the needs of every group member, explaining things vividly and interestingly along the way, and sharing many practical travel tips. Today, my family and I joined a Klook Mount Fuji day tour. The itinerary was rich, the scenery was beautiful, and most importantly, we had a responsible and attentive tour guide, Mandy. Thanks to her adjusting the itinerary based on the weather, we were able to see the rarely visible Mount Fuji and the swans at Lake Yamanaka. All attractions were successfully viewed under bright sunshine, and we took many beautiful photos. Finally, it only started raining heavily when the entire group was on the bus returning to Shinjuku. We were truly lucky.

February 3, 2026: An amazing, newly developed one-day tour! Highly recommend it, we were so lucky to see Mount Fuji in its full glory. We saw all the popular Instagrammable spots, and the itinerary was well-paced, allowing plenty of time for photos and a relaxed experience. Our guide, Xiao Yu (J01), was fantastic – knowledgeable, spoke calmly and clearly, and made the tour enjoyable without any pressure. She was attentive and thoughtful. Upon returning to the meeting point in Tokyo, she even gave us special recommendations for free, high-value attractions near Tokyo Station and affordable, good-quality supermarkets. We will definitely join Klook and Xiao Yu's tours again!

This Mount Fuji day trip was an excellent experience, especially thanks to our guide, Matt! I've wanted to see Mount Fuji for a long time and wanted to visit different spots, so I joined a tour group because I was worried about transportation. Our guide, Tanni, patiently explained the itinerary and provided ample time for the group to enjoy the activities. I hope to join Tanni's tour again in the future if I have the chance. The overall itinerary was a bit rushed, so it might not be suitable for those with children or people with mobility issues.
