I hadn't purchased in advance due to the weather, but then I found out about the Klook 6-hour pass the day before and bought it. I received a QR code and exchanged it for a lift ticket at the information desk. It was interesting that our names were printed on the one-day lift tickets. If you don't have a lift ticket, you have to pay an additional 500 yen deposit per person to get one, which you can get back later. We just kept ours as a souvenir. A 4-hour pass on the official website is 7030 yen for adults and 3705 yen for children after a 5% discount, but I think I bought the 6-hour pass on Klook for a bit cheaper. We had a great time riding for the full 6 hours and then came back.

My family and I enjoyed skiing at this resort so much. I think it's a great place for beginners to check out. It's huge and there are plenty of activities. Although we ended up paying more because we also tried snow riding and availed ourselves of private ski lessons, we were still able to use the ski wear and ski equipment all day long. Please note that gloves, goggles, and helmets are not included, so we bought the gloves and goggles at the store.

The activities at Kiroro Resort are excellent; I recommend Kiroro if anyone wants to go skiing. Klook should also partner with Hokkaido Resort Liner for bus travel arrangements from Otaruchikko railway station to Kiroro Resort. Traveling by car is very expensive.

It's our first time to experience snow and go to a Ski Mountain. The ticket allows you to use the facility, but we were not able to use the lift pass because it requires you to ski down, which we are not confident to do. You are on your own to figure out (everything here - no one to assist you except in the ski rental area) how to ski unless you get an instructor (highly suggest that you do to get the full experience). We stayed from 9 am to 4 pm, which is just right if you want to experience it. If you really want to learn, stay in the resort and get a teacher. We had a good time; it might have been better if there were basic orientation on how to ski. We watched YouTube 'How To Ski' videos so we could enjoy it. By the way, you need to check the bus (separate company) to take you to the resort; it varies. The ticket we bought from Klook is for 2 adults, including ski rentals for clothes and equipment, but the voucher issued to us was for child clothes. Kiroro staff coordinated with the Klook partner so we could get the adult clothing and ski equipment – we just showed our Klook booking.

Highly recommended! It's a great choice for beginners, especially for those without equipment, as ordering a package is very convenient. This time, I ordered a snowboard set + ski jacket and pants. The ski resort doesn't rent gloves or goggles, so I suggest friends coming to play bring their own or buy the cheapest set at a local ski shop, which includes a beanie, gloves, and goggles. After tax refund, it was just over 5400 yen. Additionally, helmet rental was 2000 yen. This information is for your reference.

We rented a one-day pass and ropeway ticket. There are options for one-day, 4-hour, night skiing, and more. Redemption was easy and quick. There are over twenty ski trails. After 3 PM, several lifts closed because it was getting dark. It wasn't particularly crowded. It's close to Otaru, about a 45-minute drive.

Redemption was easy. We already had our cards from the previous 2 days of skiing that we booked directly through the ski resort. We just went to the counter to redeem the Klook 6-hour pass, and they simply added it to our existing cards. Super quick and hassle-free. Literally one of the best powder days we’ve ever had!

I've always used Niseko, but this was my first visit to Kiroro. While it's not as large as Niseko, they operate excellent slopes, and the snow quality was very good. Most importantly, I liked that there were fewer people than in Niseko. All the ski center staff were also friendly, and I had no difficulty communicating in English.
