Antalya Perge & Aspendos Full-Day Small Group Experience

Fatima is a great and experienced guide. She has a way to illustrate history in a lively, attractive manner. She would make use of modern examples as well to help you better understand the concepts. I am not a history person but I am drawn to her storytelling. Time management wise, she arranged the itinerary so that we could avoid traffic and finish our tour on time. Time allocated to each site is reasonable. An intro of the history, some info on the technology used, followed by individual exploration and photo-taking time. One slight suggestion is that more time can be allocated to Aspendos Theatre. We spent like 55mins at Side, which is nice. It allowed you to have time to sit down and enjoy a glass of pomegranate beer. But we only had 20mins at Aspendos. Would be perfect if have a little bit more time to explore there.

Trust me, this trip was absolutely fantastic. We set off at 8 am, visiting Panergay, Aspendos, the ancient city of Sida, and the waterfalls, before returning to Antalya around 5 pm. Our guide, Fatima Tunc Altin, was the friendliest guide I've ever met. She had an excellent grasp of the itinerary, always considerate of everyone's feelings, and fluently recounted the history of the ancient city. You'd be incredibly lucky to meet her.

It was a wonderful trip. The tour guide was enthusiastic, thoughtful, and humorous, sharing many fun facts about Antalya with us along the way. At each attraction, they introduced the stories behind the ancient sites. My favorite was the ancient city of Perge, which is very large, second only to Ephesus, and its ruins are relatively well-preserved. We walked through the gates from the Greek to Roman periods, the baths, the arena, and the central square. Standing on the small hill at the end of the East Gate, overlooking the entire site, I imagined how grand and magnificent this city must have been at its peak, with buildings adorned with white marble and columns soaring into the sky, sparkling in the sunlight. For lunch, there were three options: fish, beef, and chicken. The grilled fish was quite good, and the restaurant also provided local Antalya oranges, which were sweet and juicy. We started our return journey at 3 PM. A small suggestion: it would be better if we could have more free time in Side, as we only had time to see the temple and didn't have time to explore many other ancient sites.

It was a burden to travel to ancient ruins in Antalya individually, but with the tour, I was able to do it comfortably and with informative explanations. It was even better because it was a small group, and I liked that it was a clean tour without uncomfortable shopping centers. In particular, our guide, Fatima, was passionate and led us well, making it a truly fulfilling and informative time. It was my first itinerary right after arriving in Turkey, and it was a wonderful start. The vehicle we traveled in also had excellent facilities, and I would have brought my charger if I had known there were USB ports at each seat. Anyway, I highly recommend it.

A wonderful tour experience! We effortlessly explored stunning historical buildings and scenery. The knowledgeable and charming tour guide provided a wealth of cultural insights. Even when the vehicle encountered an air conditioning issue, the driver quickly resolved it. Highly recommend this tour!

It was a great trip! The guide was very knowledgeable with a sense of humor and he told us lots of stories about Turkey and all the places we visited.

Our tour guide, Fatima, provided very detailed historical information for each site we visited. The transfers were hassle-free, and we also enjoyed a lovely Turkish lunch.

The itinerary is unreal. These are must-visit locations while in Antalya. Our guide was KHAN, and he was everything you could ask for in a guide. He taught us about the history in a very fun and interactive way, always smiling and happy throughout. Sadly, on that day, government officials were blocking the entrance to Manavgat Falls, and we missed out :(

Our tour guide, Fatima, is warm, friendly, humorous, and professional. She regularly reads academic papers to update her knowledge about the attractions and uses an iPad to show key and vivid images to help us better understand the history of these ruins. Additionally, thanks to the driver for the smooth ride. Finally, the dogs and cats in Perge are all enthusiastic and adorable; everyone must remember to interact with them!
