Alugue Hanbok com penteado e sessão de fotos no Hanboknam Jeonju

This is my third time wearing a Hanbok in Korea. It is better to try it in Gyeonggijeon Shrine than Gyeongbokgung Palace because it is less crowded there. Although one staff member was not that friendly, overall this is highly recommended!

The shop assistants were very friendly, kind, and efficient. They speak some English, and we understood each other well. They have a wide variety of clothing and advise you on which garments match. You can choose from five hairstyles that don't take long to do and look great, even with curly hair. They also provide handbags and footwear. Additionally, they have lockers and changing rooms. I definitely recommend it!

Auntie's kind service attitude and the smiling staff made for a thoughtful experience. Upon arrival, we just gave our order number and they immediately took us to choose our favorite Hanbok. The staff helped us put it on, and basic hair styling and braiding were free. However, head accessories cost an additional 3,000 Korean Won. There were three hairstyles to choose from. This time, we chose the themed Hanbok for 2.5 hours, which was very beautiful. There's also an option to upgrade to a premium Hanbok for an additional fee.

Travel back in time and enjoy seeing the sights of Hanok Village dressed in traditional hanbok. We decided last minute to rent hanboks at Hanboknam where they were welcoming, helpful, and fast. After putting our belongings in a locker we headed up the stairs to choose hanbok from their basic package. Don’t let the word basic fool you, they are stunning and lighter than expected. We were assisted by a knowledgeable staff worker. She asked us to choose the skirt and she picked complementary jackets according to our size. This was helpful. When we went back downstairs they offered to braid our hair or choose from a different style. You have the option to upgrade as needed. We loved our handbags, an extra but needed element. This is a great place to rent hanbok and enjoy Hanok Village.

This was our first experience renting a Hanbok, and it was truly great! The studio is easy to find and everything was very straightforward. The selection was large, and there's definitely something for everyone! The ladies were very nice, and communication was simple and uncomplicated. I can definitely recommend this studio!

Rentar un hanbok aquí fue una experiencia sencilla y divertida. Estaba ubicado en una parte muy céntrica de la Aldea Hanok de Jeonju. Los dueños de la tienda fueron amables y eficientes al vestirnos. Los accesorios adicionales también tenían precios razonables (sombreros tradicionales, bolsos, peinados premium). Disfrutamos eligiendo nuestros hanboks y paseando por la aldea 😊

The store location is easy to find, and the staff are very friendly. Although I chose a basic hanbok, there were still many options (I highly recommend spending extra for a hairstyle). The time allotted was also sufficient. However, I suggest not wearing overly thick clothing underneath your hanbok. If you don't remove your own clothes before putting on the hanbok, it can look quite bulky, but it's still very beautiful.

The place was very easy to find, and they were open before their official opening hours of 9:30 AM when we arrived at 9:15 AM. The staff was very experienced and helped us choose our lovely and matching hanboks. There were many choices for themed hanboks, which is the minimum we would recommend. We wore our own track shoes and did not need to remove any clothing. However, if you want your hanbok to look nicer and if the weather is warm enough, it might be better to wear sleeveless and white tops or wear the hanbok over your underwear. We rented for 2.5 hours, and it was barely enough time. The store was very trusting and not strict about the return time, but we returned them on time. They charged KRW 2,000 to do up the hair with lovely accessories, which was really worthwhile. There were also additional costs for shoes, bags, or hats. Overall, we highly recommend renting hanbok from Jeonju Hanboknam, as Jeonju is lovely with traditional hanoks as backgrounds.
