Aluguel de Hanbok na Vila Hanok de Jeonju em Hanboknam

This is my third time wearing a Hanbok in Korea. It is better to try it in Gyeonggijeon Shrine than Gyeongbokgung Palace because it is less crowded there. Although one staff member was not that friendly, overall this is highly recommended!

The staff were really friendly people who helped us a lot with wearing the traditional costumes and makeup. However, we could see that they were overloaded with customers, so when we needed assistance we had to be proactive or else there would have been lots of delays. And always ask the counter for the timing to be back so that you can plan your day properly!

Auntie's kind service attitude and the smiling staff made for a thoughtful experience. Upon arrival, we just gave our order number and they immediately took us to choose our favorite Hanbok. The staff helped us put it on, and basic hair styling and braiding were free. However, head accessories cost an additional 3,000 Korean Won. There were three hairstyles to choose from. This time, we chose the themed Hanbok for 2.5 hours, which was very beautiful. There's also an option to upgrade to a premium Hanbok for an additional fee.

The store location is easy to find, and the staff are very friendly. Although I chose a basic hanbok, there were still many options (I highly recommend spending extra for a hairstyle). The time allotted was also sufficient. However, I suggest not wearing overly thick clothing underneath your hanbok. If you don't remove your own clothes before putting on the hanbok, it can look quite bulky, but it's still very beautiful.

Rentar un hanbok aquí fue una experiencia sencilla y divertida. Estaba ubicado en una parte muy céntrica de la Aldea Hanok de Jeonju. Los dueños de la tienda fueron amables y eficientes al vestirnos. The place was very easy to find, and they were open before their official opening hours of 9:30 AM when we arrived at 9:15 AM. The staff was very experienced and helped us choose our lovely and matching hanboks. There were many choices for themed hanboks, which is the minimum we would recommend. We wore our own track shoes and did not need to remove any clothing. However, if you want your hanbok to look nicer and if the weather is warm enough, it might be better to wear sleeveless and white tops or wear the hanbok over your underwear. We rented for 2.5 hours, and it was barely enough time. The store was very trusting and not strict about the return time, but we returned them on time. They charged KRW 2,000 to do up the hair with lovely accessories, which was really worthwhile. There were also additional costs for shoes, bags, or hats. Overall, we highly recommend renting hanbok from Jeonju Hanboknam, as Jeonju is lovely with traditional hanoks as backgrounds.

The service and the hanboks were both great. I'm a plus size and was able to find my size. They also had hanboks for my husband, and they even gave us matching couple hanboks. I recommend getting the hairstyle for 3000 won.
