Partida de Tóquio - Monte Omuro, Parque de Cactos de Izu & Excursão de um dia à Costa de Jogasaki

Long drive along the coastline to Omuro, scenic and car was comfortable, ¥1000 pp for a cable ride to go up Omuro Mountain, fog rolled in so couldn’t see much, it was very chilly at the top so I brought a T-shirt for ¥3800, not much of a choice up there so just bring an extra shirt or jacket. Our guide, Wei, was very nice and accommodating, we managed to communicate through text on WhatsApp. we had about 2 1/2 hours to check out Omuro and the zoo, but it wasn’t clear, so some people had only half an hour to check out the zoo. The entrance fee of the zoo was ¥2800 on weekdays, save your cable ticket and get ¥100 off zoo fee. so much to see at the zoo so I would try to spend more time at the zoo, then drove to Jogasaki, walked along the jagged rocks and crossed a small bridge, which looked bigger and different in the ad. Then went to the marine market for 30 minutes, I did buy a lot only to realize it’s cheaper at the regular local stores. good trip to get away from city

We had such an amazing day exploring the Izu area! Visiting Mount Omuro was such a unique experience with incredible views, and Izu Shaboten Zoo was so fun with all the animals and cacti. The scenery at Jogasaki Coast was absolutely stunning, and walking across the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge was both exciting and beautiful. Our driver/tour guide was so helpful and kind, making everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this tour!

an experience to remember - all of it - mount Omuro, the train ride, the suspension bridge, walking along the coastal back to the bus - beautiful scenery. Mt Fuji was clearly seen from Mt Omuro. Edward, our guide was the best - very informative and helpful.

Ko and Liu took me on my first guided tour and I had an wonderful time! Ko was really knowledgeable in fun facts about Mount Fuji and the places we visited. If you’re thinking about this, do it! It was really worth it!

We took almost 3 hours to arrive the 1st destination due to traffic jam on the highway. However, we truly enjoyed the Mount Omuro & the view of Mount Fuji. We visiting the Zoo as well. Riding on the Sight seeing Black train, find the special seat car 1, enjoyed the scenery of the coaster line make us so relax. Lastly, visiting the suspended bridge is so amazing due to good weather.

Nunca esperé que el viaje fuera tan divertido. Tomar el teleférico hasta la cima del Monte Omuro fue una muy buena experiencia y se puede ver el Monte Fuji claramente. Los animales en el Zoológico Izu Shaboten son muy lindos. En general, una muy buena experiencia y me alegro de haber tenido un guía responsable con nosotros.

We took a mini bus and the driver was really safe the entire ride, especially during the long jams of about 3 hours in the morning and 4-5 hours in the evening. Unfortunately, we weren't able to visit the zoo and Ito Marine Town due to the expected traffic. But our time at the mountain and the ocean views more than made up for it. The drive along the coastal views was really scenic as well, and we were lucky to be able to spot Mount Fuji too!

Although the meeting time was 7 AM, the advantage of leaving early was avoiding traffic. The driver also served as the tour guide, and since it was a small group, we traveled in a comfortable 10-seater vehicle. The driver spoke Mandarin, was incredibly kind and polite, and truly deserves praise. I hope to encounter him again on future tours. He was far superior to the drivers and guides from the previous two days, whom I truly hope not to meet again, especially that dangerous driver who would turn his head to talk while driving – seeing that left me speechless. If this tour were in May, the scenery would be lush green, but now it's a greenish-yellow. Nevertheless, I think it's worth seeing, and you can also enjoy distant views of Mount Fuji. The special train ride was just average; having experienced the autumn foliage trains in Kansai, I felt this one could be skipped. I actually found the distant sea views from the car more appealing. At the fishing village, I tried the famous Kinmedai sushi, which was very fresh and incredibly good value for money.

It’s so lovely to see wonders of Izu, the views on the way to every destination are stunning and Andy is a skilled and kind driver who makes sure you arrive at each spot safely. Definitely recommend!

The best tour we had in Japan! I will recommend this to my friends visiting Japan. This is the Japan I'm looking for. Mount Omuro and the Shaboten Zoo were the highlights, but everything was great, I must say! What an experience! Andy Shi was our tour guide and driver, and he did great. Thank you for the experience!
