Soon after getting in the car, the driver/tour guide handed me a paper to sign. Actually, at 3 AM that same day, the driver had messaged me asking if I wanted to participate in optional activities. Since it was early morning, I replied, "I'll participate in all of them." When I saw the paper, I clearly understood the prices of the activities. He didn't offer any explanation. Two photos are attached!
Every morning, the driver/tour guide never proactively greeted the guests, not even a "good morning"! 😡😡 Throughout the trip, there was hardly any explanation, and no introduction as to whether he was a driver or a guide! If there are time limits at each stop, guests should be informed of the meeting time and location.
Honestly, I've had French cuisine many times, and I've been to France over 10 times. I truly didn't expect such poor quality. They gave me yellow, half-cooked fried rice instead of pasta, with no explanation whatsoever! The driver/guide asked for my steak to be medium-rare (50% cooked), but it arrived 80-90% cooked! For another French lunch, I ordered tiger prawns, which might have been left out too long as the surface was dry and the texture was a bit hard, like an eraser. He also didn't follow up on our issues. To be honest, eating by myself wouldn't be this expensive or this bad.
The most outrageous was the Chinese buffet. Speechless…….
The time arrangement for sightseeing was even worse. Klook's schedule said one hour, then arranged two hours, which was a big difference from reality. At some attractions, there simply wasn't enough time to enjoy them; we could only walk around and look.
The meeting time itself was early, and I didn't expect to have to wake up early for the next two days of the itinerary. Breakfast on the last day at 7:30 AM was extremely simple/crude.
If I went to Petit Champions again, the service would be better, cheaper, and the food quality superior! It's not like someone said you have to use French and don't know what to eat, and you have to pay tax! When I travel, I expect to pay certain consumption taxes! And tips even more so!
For such a long journey, a comfortable vehicle should have been arranged. I couldn't even recline my seat a little to rest or stretch my legs.
The worst part was the driver's terrible driving. Once, we almost hit a curb. The car swayed violently during the drive, and he would suddenly brake hard!
Finally, I'm truly angry. One guest asked to be dropped off near the Sheraton hotel, and he told the guest that either everyone gets off, or they have to get off at the designated spot! He claimed there was no place to park and unload luggage. How rude!
Why does everyone have to get off? Why does everyone have to get off? Why does everyone have to get off?
In the end, I didn't get back to 438 University Street until after 8 PM….
I've participated in many Klook travel plans before, but I've truly never had an experience like this!
