I booked this 5-hour tour (9am-2pm) for a short holiday to Hong Kong in mid-January 2026 with my mother (in her 70s). The operator is "myhktour" and they will add customers to a group WhatsApp the evening before the tour date. The assigned driver will also be added to the group chat for easy communication. We were assigned Driver/Guide Bill, who picked us up punctually at the hotel. The vehicle is actually good for 6 people, so with just the two of us on the tour, it was really spacious. We conversed with Bill in Mandarin. Before leaving the hotel, he asked if we had any spots we wanted to visit before he entered the routes into his vehicle's GPS. We appreciated that he drove carefully, was friendly, and helped us take photos. We covered many spots (such as Central (drive-through), Man Mo Temple, Pottinger Street, the Monster Building (a lot of tourists snapping pictures there), Stanley Bay, Repulse Bay, The Peak (Bakehouse has an outlet there)) on Hong Kong Island, and Bill allowed us some time to explore without making us feel rushed.

I really enjoyed the day tour. We were able to visit many places and experience a lot. Our guide, Mr. Ricky, was friendly and helped us go where we wanted, and also suggested things for us to experience (Hong Kong Tram Tour). The overall experience was so good that I plan to book it again when I return to Hong Kong with different companions.

Today we chartered a car for 5 hours, departing at 10 AM. We visited Nan Lian Garden, went to the top of Fei Ngo Shan to enjoy the scenery, and had seafood in Sai Kung. This was our first time chartering a car in Hong Kong with my husband and parents, and everyone found it very comfortable. Our tour guide, Stanley, was very nice; he explained the attractions to us and helped us take beautiful photos. We were scheduled to return at 3 PM, but we spent too long eating seafood in Sai Kung, so we didn't have time to go to Mong Kok for delicious pineapple buns, which was a bit of a shame. However, the overall experience was great, and I highly recommend a chartered car day trip for friends visiting Hong Kong – it's convenient and relaxing 😊

Mr. Bill is our driver/tour guide. He is punctual for our pickup time. This is a private tour so we opted to go to the following (considering we have senior citizen parents): 1. Cable Car up to Ngong Ping Village (my fear of heights was tested. It was quite foggy and windy during our ride up) 2. Ngong Ping Village (we had our lunch here and bought some souvenirs) 3. Tian Tan Buddha (parents opted not to go up. It's quite tiring and the air is thin) 4. Cable car down to the Terminal near Tung Chung Station (the weather was better/sunny) 5. Drive around Central Area (longest escalator in HK) 6. Sunset at Victoria Peak (we had our afternoon snacks here) All along the way, Mr. Bill suggested possible destinations, as well as some history of the places we were passing by. He also suggested food choices and snacks. He also took our family photos at the peak. He dropped us off along Nathan Road to cap off our day tour. Thank you so much, Mr. Bill!

Ricky, was our guide in Hongkong. He is very accommodating and knowledgeable. He is passionate on his country that he extends to us. In short day that we are there, we learned a lot about the country. Although it was a foggy day that we missed to go in The Peak observatory, we still enjoy the scenery going up The Peak and riding the Tram to go down.

The tour is enjoyable! Our guide, Sir Ricky, is very nice and knowledgeable about Hong Kong. He even gave us some recommendations on other areas we can explore. Overall, my family had a great time on this day tour.
