Excursão de um dia ao Monte Aso de Fukuoka e ao Desfiladeiro de Takachiho

This one-day tour was a very nice trip. It is a great way to see Mount Aso and Takachiho. Even though it was raining and cloudy, I was still impressed by the atmosphere. Also, our guide, Ada, was incredibly nice and friendly. She spoke English, Chinese, and Japanese to help us. It is well worth the trip, and I highly recommend it!

The Takachiho boat ride, Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine, and Kusasenri day trip itinerary involves many attractions, so it's crucial to manage time carefully. Our guide, Yang Meng, thoughtfully emailed important notes to everyone the day before and diligently introduced each site along the way. The driver was also very steady, allowing us to rest comfortably in the car. Overall, the experience was excellent. We usually return to Hakata city after 6:30 PM, and it could be even later if there's traffic or delays. Therefore, if you plan to book a dinner reservation, we recommend scheduling it for at least after 7:30 PM to allow for more flexibility. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the Takachiho boat ride but doesn't have a car.

It's September, a time of lush greenery and singing orioles, and we're in Kumamoto and Miyazaki. Mount Aso, located in the northeastern part of Kumamoto Prefecture on Japan's Kyushu Island, is a famous active volcano and a symbol of Kumamoto. It is renowned for having the world's largest caldera, covering an area of approximately 380 square kilometers, resembling a giant scar on the earth, yet brimming with mysterious vitality. Kusasenri is a vast highland meadow, forming a stark contrast with the smoke-billowing crater. Herds of cattle and sheep graze on the grassland, with rolling mountains in the distance, creating a picturesque scene. Here, you can stroll, picnic, or enjoy outdoor activities like horseback riding. Takachiho, a mysterious land in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, is both a hub of natural wonders and the birthplace of Japanese mythology. Every inch of this land seems to tell ancient stories, and with every breath, you can feel the fusion of nature and culture. Finally, I am incredibly grateful to tour guide Yang Meng for her meticulous explanations and tireless service throughout the day, making me feel cared for even in a foreign land. This was my second trip to Kyushu, and to save trouble, I booked a one-day Aso tour. Apart from the bad weather – a heavy downpour that soaked my pants and shoes – everything else was perfect! The arrangements for time, route, transportation, and breaks were all very reasonable. On the way back, we even saw a rainbow and a stunning sunset! What's particularly worth mentioning is our tour guide, Jimmy (Liu-san) – he was witty and humorous, patient and meticulous, and the itinerary was very clear. He covered every detail, things tourists might not even think of! It was a delightful surprise! A shout-out to the people of Changning; his opening was a witty and humorous mix of Shanghainese-accented Mandarin and English, absolutely fantastic. I even had the illusion I was listening to a stand-up comedy show by YouTuber Ethan's Dad, hahaha!

We had a fantastic day thanks to our guide Kevin, who was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and tireless in sharing stories and interesting facts. He made every stop special with brilliant and never boring explanations, despite the terrible rainy weather. The tour was very well organized: Mount Aso in the morning, then Kusakabe Yoshimi Shrine, and in the afternoon Takachiho Gorge with a boat trip. Highly recommended!

Nuestro guía turístico Jimmy hizo un trabajo fantástico, brindando información sobre el viaje con un toque de humor para mantenernos entretenidos, ¡todo mientras tenía que hacer el recorrido tanto en chino como en inglés! El recorrido se sintió un poco apresurado a veces, especialmente al ir a Kusasenri/Monte Aso, pero comprensible considerando todo lo que incluyeron en el tour. ¡Definitivamente recomiendo probar esto, especialmente si pueden ir con buen tiempo como nosotros!

Today, I participated in a one-day tour of Aso-Takachiho-Senrigahama, and our guide was Yang Meng. The entire day felt very comfortable; both the guide and the driver were excellent at creating a lively atmosphere and told us many historical stories. I was very happy with this trip, five-star rating! I hope to meet the guide again next time I visit Fukuoka (heart emoji). Finally, the guide recommended some local restaurants that she thought were good and frequented by locals, which was very thoughtful. We tried one of them, and it was delicious! The guide also helped us take group photos throughout the trip, which was very thoughtful and patient. The experience was fantastic, and we were even lucky enough to see the volcano, hehe.

The weather was great that day, and we were so lucky to see the Aso crater 👍🏻! Next, we took a bus to Kusasenri, which is nearby. Although it wasn't the best time to visit when everything is lush green, the vast scenery was still refreshing. In the afternoon, we arrived at the famous Takachiho Gorge to see some maple leaves and waterfalls. The beautiful scenery was truly breathtaking! Finally, I want to thank our lovely tour guide, Yang Meng. Thanks to her meticulous arrangements and detailed explanations, this trip was a fantastic experience 🫶🏻

Today, the humorous guide Jimmy-san will take everyone boating in Takachiho Gorge, visit Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine, and Kusasenri. Although Mount Aso is closed, it doesn't diminish the richness of this trip. It's perfect for friends who want to visit these attractions. If you get Jimmy as your guide, you're guaranteed to have a happy day!

Great tour, great tour guide, typical North German bad weather. Despite the bad weather, our tour guide Kevin got us through the day with a lot of humor and joy. A big compliment! It was a great experience. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the unfair green fields of Mount Aso, but we spontaneously drove to the One Piece Usopp Statue, right at Aso Station. Great experience!
