Excursão de um dia ao Monte Aso de Fukuoka e ao Desfiladeiro de Takachiho

This one-day tour was a very nice trip. It is a great way to see Mount Aso and Takachiho. Even though it was raining and cloudy, I was still impressed by the atmosphere. Also, our guide, Ada, was incredibly nice and friendly. She spoke English, Chinese, and Japanese to help us. It is well worth the trip, and I highly recommend it!

The friendly tour guide (Kevin) – even though the weather wasn’t great, we still had lots of fun with food and buying different local gifts. The Sakura latte is a seasonal drink and was very delicious, a great recommendation.

Weather may be unpredictable, but the entire tour with our tour guide, Kevin, and our Captain Driver made everything awesome and comfortable. It was a flawless trip with energetic vibes and a safe journey. Highly recommended to book this trip with your family. 🫡✌️

Nuestro guía turístico Jimmy hizo un trabajo fantástico, brindando información sobre el viaje con un toque de humor para mantenernos entretenidos, ¡todo mientras tenía que hacer el recorrido tanto en chino como en inglés! El recorrido se sintió un poco apresurado a veces, especialmente al ir a Kusasenri/Monte Aso, pero comprensible considerando todo lo que incluyeron en el tour. ¡Definitivamente recomiendo probar esto, especialmente si pueden ir con buen tiempo como nosotros!

Today, I participated in a one-day tour of Aso-Takachiho-Senrigahama, and our guide was Yang Meng. The entire day felt very comfortable; both the guide and the driver were excellent at creating a lively atmosphere and told us many historical stories. I was very happy with this trip, five-star rating! I hope to meet the guide again next time I visit Fukuoka (heart emoji). Finally, the guide recommended some local restaurants that she thought were good and frequented by locals, which was very thoughtful. We tried one of them, and it was delicious! The guide also helped us take group photos throughout the trip, which was very thoughtful and patient. The experience was fantastic, and we were even lucky enough to see the volcano, hehe.

It's September, a time of lush greenery and singing orioles, and we're in Kumamoto and Miyazaki. Mount Aso, located in the northeastern part of Kumamoto Prefecture on Japan's Kyushu Island, is a famous active volcano and a symbol of Kumamoto. It is renowned for having the world's largest caldera, covering an area of approximately 380 square kilometers, resembling a giant scar on the earth, yet brimming with mysterious vitality. Kusasenri is a vast highland meadow, forming a stark contrast with the smoke-billowing crater. Herds of cattle and sheep graze on the grassland, with rolling mountains in the distance, creating a picturesque scene. Here, you can stroll, picnic, or enjoy outdoor activities like horseback riding. Takachiho, a mysterious land in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, is both a hub of natural wonders and the birthplace of Japanese mythology. Every inch of this land seems to tell ancient stories, and with every breath, you can feel the fusion of nature and culture. Finally, I am incredibly grateful to tour guide Yang Meng for her meticulous explanations and tireless service throughout the day, making me feel cared for even in a foreign land. This is another recommended tour. I'm not sure if it would be cheaper to go by myself, but the attractions are quite far and difficult to get to, or require multiple transfers. Buying a tour like this is convenient. There are additional expenses of about ¥1400 on top of the tour cost, and we have to manage our own food. However, I was very impressed with the guide; he was good and always took photos for us.

After deciding to come to Fukuoka for a concert, Takachiho Gorge became the place I most wanted to see. Since I was traveling alone and transportation to these attractions isn't very convenient, this one-day tour content, after much comparison, was the most suitable for me. The entire trip was very relaxed and comfortable. Our guide, Daisy (WX), provided very detailed introductions to the attractions in both Chinese and English. Her care before and after the trip was excellent, and we had a great time interacting. If I have another chance, I would definitely want to join her tour again :D On the way back, I saw the sunset over Fukuoka, ending a perfect day.

Tour guide Xiao Liu explained everything very diligently, not only local characteristics but also some history of Japan as a whole, which was very comprehensive. He constantly checked if any group members were left behind, which was great. You only see Mount Komezuka from the bus. Kusasenri only has a one-hour stop, so it's recommended to bring something to eat there. Takachiho Gorge wasn't as beautiful as imagined, but it was still a nice walk. There are two Lawson convenience stores near the meeting point, so be careful not to go to the wrong one. Recommended for family trips with parents, as the bus transfers along the way prevent them from getting too tired, and you can visit multiple attractions, which is quite good.

The Takachiho boat ride, Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine, and Kusasenri day trip itinerary involves many attractions, so it's crucial to manage time carefully. Our guide, Yang Meng, thoughtfully emailed important notes to everyone the day before and diligently introduced each site along the way. The driver was also very steady, allowing us to rest comfortably in the car. Overall, the experience was excellent. We usually return to Hakata city after 6:30 PM, and it could be even later if there's traffic or delays. Therefore, if you plan to book a dinner reservation, we recommend scheduling it for at least after 7:30 PM to allow for more flexibility. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the Takachiho boat ride but doesn't have a car.
