Myeongdong MUD: Experiência de Spa Coreano com Massagem e Esfoliação com Lama

Landed from my flight at 5am and booked the VIP package for same morning - best idea ever. I went through a sauna, shower, bath, scrub, mud mask, body massage and even hair care all in one place! The woman who attended to me didn’t really speak English, but I definitely got the scrubdown of a lifetime. Even received a free tea and fullsized skincare products at the end! This was my first Korean body scrub/spa experience and it certainly won’t be the last.

I absolutely LOVED this place. The moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. The ladies were so sweet and gentle, and they made me feel completely safe and comfortable the whole time. The body scrub was EVERYTHING. My skin has never felt this soft. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and glowing. Such a beautiful self-care experience and honestly one of my favorite things I did in Seoul. If you’re thinking about booking, do it. Highly recommend and I’d 100% come back again!

The staff there are all courteous. The masseuse who does the scrub is so detailed that she takes care of every inch of your body until it is clean and smooth 😂 a very delightful service and experience.

An unexpectedly great experience! Everyone must try it! We booked a facial, body, and foot treatment, but it turned out this treatment didn't include a body scrub. So, after we arrived and communicated, we paid extra to add the body scrub. The process was incredibly rich. First, we changed clothes, then went for a dry sauna for about 10 minutes, and then showered. Some aunties would instruct us to rinse thoroughly. After that, we soaked in something similar to a hot spring, and then lay face down on a bed with a plastic sheet. The aunties sang little songs while giving us a very detailed body scrub. Then, after washing our hair and face, they applied a mud mask all over our bodies, and we went for another sauna session. After that, we showered again, and after drying ourselves, a machine moved up from below to blow-dry us, which made me laugh so much. Then we went down to the next floor for a full body massage. After massaging our backs, we turned over for 100 steps of facial mask and a foot massage. Afterwards, when we opened our eyes, we found that we were at least two shades lighter, no joke. Next time you're here, remember to come and experience it! If you're taking a red-eye flight, this is a great place to recharge, excellent! The photos don't do justice to how good the place is, everyone should try it!

We ordered the massage package. We thought the scrub was included but it wasn't. Luckily, they can accommodate us. First we started with a Korean sauna (hanjeungmak), followed by a shower, a Jacuzzi then we had a 30-minute scrub done by a very lovely Korean woman. Then a sauna. The second part was a massage, another lovely strong Korean woman helped me, I'm so relaxed now. She did a facial in between the body massage. My body was very busy all the time 🤣. I highly recommend it after a red-eye flight. They open at 9 am. We spent 3 hours and came out with amazing glowing skin.

If you are searching for a comprehensive full body and facial spa experience look this is fully worth the price! I went for the VIP massage course experience which includes a full body massage, contouring and hydrating facial treatments, foot reflexology, and more. Facilities are not flashy, but the staff is extremely accommodating, professional, and experienced. So happy I will be returning before I leave Korea!

The therapists were very friendly towards a non-Korean speaking person. They helped me feel very relaxed in an otherwise awkward scenario.
