Tour Noturno em Seul: Cruzeiro no Rio Han, Mercado de Gwangjang e Rua Escondida

I just went on the tour alone and met John, our guide. It felt like going on a trip with someone you've known for months or even years. John was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the trip with him. He recommended what to eat at the market, we shared some food, and I would recommend this experience to everyone.

This was such a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, John, has been a knowledgeable, amiable and funny guide. We were able to try the most popular korean dishes in Gwangjang Market such as the Yukhoe (raw beef), Mung Bean pancakes and Gimbap, stroll along Cheonggyecheon Stream, and, to cap the night off, got to see the beautiful skyline of Seoul through the Hangang River Cruise. Although, it was cold during the cruise, it was still very dreamy and romantic. Definitely, a must-tour to book.

We were a group of six from Japan. Our tour guide was incredibly polite and kind! On the day of the tour, the guide picked us up by car at the designated location. The day before, we received an email introducing the guide who would be with us the next day. This time, it was a gentleman in his 30s named Yoon Sang-wook, also known as Edward. Although Japanese wasn't an option for preferred language when booking the tour, Edward amazingly speaks four languages: Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean! We didn't need to use any translation tools at all and chatted in Japanese throughout the entire tour. He also took photos for us at various spots. Since this tour didn't include cruise tickets, we purchased them separately in advance. We chose the Starlight Cruise, and the night view was absolutely beautiful! It was stated that a passport was required to board the cruise ship, but Edward handled all the procedures for us, so we were able to board without any worries. You can enjoy the tour without feeling any anxiety about language barriers overseas! First, we drove to explore the backstreets. During the exploration, we had free time to wander. The stylish streets had bars, restaurants, and general stores, and there were so many people, it was hard to believe it was a weekday. However, there weren't long queues, so we could easily enter any shop that caught our eye. It's an excellent place to enjoy drinks. Afterwards, we arrived at the cruise ship terminal after about a 30-minute drive. Edward explained everything in Japanese, including the locations of restrooms and convenience stores. The cruise ship was also very beautiful! I'll post a detailed review of the cruise in a separate review. Edward mentioned that there aren't many Japanese tourists, but you should definitely go! You'll have a great time!

Alex was such an amazing guide! He made the whole tour feel fun and relaxed, and it honestly felt more like hanging out with a friend than being on a tour. The Han River cruise was such a highlight and he made sure it was smooth and enjoyable, He even took a detour and stopped by the HYBE building because I'm a huge BTS fan. I really appreciated his energy and kindness. Definitely recommend Alex and his your to anyone visiting Seoul!
