Royal Theater Restaurant ou Morakot Angkor Restaurant

The buffet dinner exceeded all my expectations. If you want to experience authentic Cambodian foods without risk of infection (yes, I had many from eating street foods), then this is the place to go. The quality and quantity rivals Vegas buffets. The only downside was my seating, which was far away from the stage. I could barely see the performers.

They picked us up at the hotel by tuk-tuk around 6:15 PM. We were the first to arrive at the venue, so we had plenty of time to choose and enjoy our drinks and food. The drinks and food looked great and tasted delicious. There's also a vegan-friendly food section, so it's recommended for those with dietary restrictions.

Wonderful experience! We had a great evening at the Royal Theatre Restaurant. The buffet had a huge selection of hot dishes, salads, soups, freshly prepared food, and desserts. The shows on stage were very entertaining and beautiful! All staff members were warm, kind, and accommodating. Absolutely recommendable!

Overall, I’d give this 9/10. Pick-up and drop-off by tuk-tuk were included, which made the whole evening very easy and organised. The buffet had a wide variety of mostly Cambodian and Asian food, so it’s a great way to try local dishes, although there are very few Western options and dessert was quite limited. Drinks are also extra. The show included five different traditional performances, not just Apsara dancing, and a brochure on the table explained the meaning behind each one. The costumes were beautiful and the performances felt genuinely Cambodian. The show lasted about an hour, which felt just right. I also really liked that they don’t overcrowd the tables. Seating and visibility were good, the staff were lovely, and I felt completely comfortable attending alone. For the price, I thought it was excellent value and a really enjoyable way to spend an evening in Siem Reap. I would definitely recommend it.

Transport was on time. Dinner offered a good variety and was very tasty. Truly enjoyed the show. Highly recommend!

The buffet offers a wide variety of choices, so it's recommended to go when you're quite hungry. The desserts are delicious, and the show is also quite good. The tuk-tuk transfer is very comfortable, but there's a chance you might have to share a ride.

We had a wonderful evening, much better than I expected. We were picked up on time. The location was a beautiful building with a lovely dining room full of paintings and tasteful Khmer artefacts. The buffet was varied and the food all delicious, service was attentive and friendly. The show itself was a good combination of several styles of Cambodian dancing and the final Apsara dance was stunning. Highly recommended!
