A very well organized tour despite it being a big group. Our guide Taiyo made it a pleasant experience with his humour and clear instructions emphasizing on us not to get lost. Fuji was in full visibility on our tour day and the maple corridor was lovely in its autumn splendor. Would highly recommend but do check weather and visibility of Fuji beforehand.
I booked 24 hours in advance and visited on November 21st as a day trip. It was a great value tour with a packed itinerary, and I was completely satisfied with the course. Personally, the most satisfying view was 1. Oishi Park. I could easily spend an hour here drinking coffee while looking at the mountains, but after taking photos, using the restroom (the line for women's restrooms is always long in Japan), and a 5-10 minute break, it was time to leave, haha. This place has the most tourist souvenirs and is very cute. Thanks to guide Haruka's tip, I gave up on the lavender ice cream on the first floor due to the long wait and instead had vanilla chocolate ice cream on the second floor (delicious, as Japanese dairy products are tasty). I was satisfied with the view of Mt. Fuji. 2. The Mt. Fuji view from the Instagram-famous Lawson convenience store was comically good. 3. Oshino Hakkai. For lunch, I was in line to eat local specialty miso-based udon and soba, but a group leaving after their meal said it wasn't good (thanks to those who told me!), so I just had hot bar, takoyaki, and grilled mugwort mochi (all tasted as expected). The dango wasn't chewy enough, so it wasn't great. The line for grilled fish was the longest, so I gave up (if you want to eat it, eat it as soon as you get off the bus and then take pictures). Having snacks for lunch was fine. 3. Lastly, Hikawa Clock Tower (stairs + Mt. Fuji observatory) is worth climbing, but the view from Oishi Park was so good, and it was crowded, so I couldn't expect a clear photo. On the way down, the shrine (Konohana-hime) is small and not particularly unique, but the autumn foliage path is very beautiful! After comparing fruit prices, the Fuji apples from the fruit stand right after crossing the railway tracks on the way down were large and the cheapest at 400 yen. They cut it for you on the spot (it's good to wash it with the natural spring water from Oshino Hakkai, so be sure to get a bottle – highly recommend eating autumn Fuji apples, I regretted only buying one 👍). I didn't have time to go all the way to the traffic light, so I zoomed in and took a picture at the first one. This town is also an Instagram-worthy spot, and it was fun to see many couples struggling to take photos. The course was excellent for the price, and even though it was a Friday, the return trip to Tokyo, departing at 4 PM and arriving at 6:30 PM, wasn't as congested as I expected. Everyone was on time and cooperative, following Guide Haruka's explanations, making it a great course with an enjoyable guide. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
Our day trip to Mt. Fuji with Mika (our friendly and awesome tour guide) was great. Mika was very thorough explaining each attraction which made it easy to understand and visit. The day blessed us with clear skies of Mt. Fuji at each attraction and we were able to get great photos. Awesome day and thank you again Mika for a pleasant experience.
It was a great value-for-money and excellent Mount Fuji tour! Guide Choi Choon-ae was fluent in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese, and from the very first group chat on KakaoTalk, she made every effort to provide us with as much information as possible. She kindly guided us through each Mount Fuji tour course with a bright smile. The weather was good, and the driver drove safely and comfortably, which was also great. Thanks to Romantic Tour, our family made wonderful memories and took many once-in-a-lifetime photos. If you're looking for an excellent value-for-money Mount Fuji tour, I highly recommend choosing Klook Romantic Tour!
We are quite happy with the Fuji Mountain tour led by tour guide Jimmy Lin. His joining instruction was clear and organised, his communication was great and easy. Jimmy went with us all the way to the Chureito Pagoda taking the 398-step stairway, which shows a respectable dedication to his job. Unfortunately due to the season and weather we didn’t get to see the beautiful colours or the snowy top of Mt Fuji, nevertheless, we ate pleased that we have included this day trip to Mt Fuji on our visit to Japan. Thank you Jimmy.
Excellent, I want to tell Klook that the guide in the photo is someone you should admire. Everyone loved his unique attire, his kindness, and the Fuji-san photos and Muscat grape jelly he handed out. He took great care of everyone, recommended places, and helped take photos. We were very lucky that day; the sky was clear, allowing us to see Fuji-san from every angle. So, I officially apologize again to the guide and everyone on the bus for my delay. Apart from the sightseeing, what truly impressed me was the guide and the group. (Before that, in May 2025, we went with a female guide to Nara from Dotonbori. The bus was another issue; we asked other guides, and they chased us away. They didn't specify seats, but they wrote our names on signs to reserve them, even VIP seats. Most people would eat on the bus again. They ignored us, and their poor, unclear English made us scared and disgusted with this type of tour from you.) This guide was very good; please tell him I can find him because the email has a picture of the guide. 5 stars, 10/10.
It was really a worth it trip! A trip added to my core memory! 🩵 The trip was great, we loved the places we visited. My only comment is on the guide, Yang. She brought us all to her recommended place to eat which is a little out of way to the tourist attractions. And when we got there, the group got confuse if we are required to eat there or not. And the place is really expensive. Only few groups stayed at the restaurant while the others decided to go back to the attractions. Just a little waste of time to bring us all at that restaurant. Nevertheless, the places we’ve been are all jaw-dropping beautiful.
