Excursão a Fatehpur Sikri e Stepwell de Agra a Jaipur

I was worried because I didn't receive any pickup contact until I reached out. This might be due to my earlier cancellation to change the pickup time at the last minute. There was also no bottled water provided. Unexpected stops for refueling or at souvenir shops/restaurants are acceptable. What is unacceptable is that at one of these souvenir shops/restaurants, they tried to overcharge me by 700 rupees, adding a service charge beyond the prices listed on the menu. While I acknowledge my own lack of research, I also didn't like the atmosphere at Fatehpur Sikri, where despite explanations, I felt somewhat pressured to hire a guide. I am very grateful for the long-distance driving, and overall I am satisfied, but as is often the case with car charters, this tour requires some preparedness for potential rebates to local guides and souvenir shops. Nevertheless, given the poor transportation options between Agra and Jaipur, it might be an acceptable choice. Being picked up at 6:00 AM and having Fatehpur Sikri almost entirely to myself was a significant bonus.

Vishal, the driver, was enthusiastic and kind. The tour guide (whose name I've forgotten) was also enthusiastic and humorous. However, when shopping at local stores recommended by the guide, the vendors quoted excessively high prices. I felt unhappy after making purchases, as if I had been overcharged.

The driver and car remained the same throughout the journey, and no guide rode inside the vehicle. At Fatehpur Sikri, I got off, and a local guide named Soyeb, who was cheerful but not very good at English, used a translator to explain things to me and took photos. After returning to the car and saying goodbye to Soyeb, we resumed driving. For some reason, we stopped at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary along the way, and I was asked if I wanted to visit. However, I didn't quite understand, and I was worried about incurring strange additional charges, so we proceeded to Chand Baori Stepwell. At Chand Baori, there was no guide, so I explored on my own. We then safely arrived at our accommodation in Jaipur. I was worried about additional charges, but unlike the previous Agra tour, I wasn't told that the tip was insufficient or anything like that.

Soyeb is an amazing guide! He's incredibly attentive—whenever I couldn't understand something, he patiently explained it again or used a translator app to make sure I got it. That really touched me. He's also a fantastic photographer! He always offered to take pictures for me, knew the best angles, and captured beautiful shots effortlessly. If you're looking for a guide who's knowledgeable, caring, and takes great photos, Soyeb is the one. Thank you, Soyeb, for making my trip so warm and memorable!

Mosim handled the Fatehpur Sikri portion of this tour. He explained the history of Fatehpur Sikri very well in English. He also took good photos. I would highly recommend this transfer to Agra with a tour of Fatehpur Sikri and the Stepwell (with Rohit).

Soyeb is a great guide, he shared lots of good information about the place and took really great photos. I would recommend getting him as your guide. Karan was really nice and took me from Agra to Jaipur, stopping at the 2 locations very efficiently.
