Passeio de Trem Puffing Billy de Melbourne e Santuário de Healesville e Vinícola

I've always wanted to ride the Puffing Billy steam train and experience dangling my feet out of the carriage, but I never had the time and tickets were hard to get. This time, taking advantage of my trip to Melbourne for Yixin's graduation ceremony, I wanted to arrange something. I happened to see this tour online, and it was perfect for us! It included a Puffing Billy experience, a walk along the beach cabins, a visit to the Serendip Sanctuary to see cute platypuses (Perry!), and wine tasting at a winery. Plus, with bus transfers, we didn't have to drive ourselves, so we could enjoy the wine without worry! Although the weather was unstable with intermittent rain, the experience on the steam train amidst the misty mountains during a light drizzle was even more special! Our driver and guide, Curtis, was very professional and made our whole family's trip incredibly enjoyable. This is a fantastic itinerary, whether for a family outing with children, a group of friends, or couples/partners – everyone will have a rewarding experience!

The entire day trip was very fulfilling. It started with a visit to the famous Rainbow Huts, where we could take endless photos with these colorful houses. Afterwards, we went to a vineyard and winery, where we had the option to taste wine for AU$15-25. Then we headed to Healesville Sanctuary, where we saw kangaroos and koalas – they were truly adorable. Finally, we set off for the most anticipated part: the Puffing Billy steam train in Melbourne. We got to ride for an hour, and it was so exhilarating to be able to stick our feet and hands out of the train. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Our tour guide was very friendly and explained everything clearly. The train ride is definitely a must-do; it's a wonderful experience.

The vehicle was comfortable, and the itinerary was relaxed and not rushed, allowing us to fully enjoy the trip. The steam train experience was definitely worthwhile, surprising both adults and children. The time spent at the wildlife park was just right, giving us enough time to enjoy lunch and observe the animals. At the winery, we could taste wines at our own expense and buy our favorites. The guide and driver were the same person, providing attentive service and able to communicate in both Chinese and English, offering great value for money.

This is an enjoyable day trip with our tour guide and driver - Mr Bill. He is very friendly and responsive.

It was a full-day tour and it was awesome. We went to 4 itineraries: Brighton Beach, Yarra Valley Wine Tasting, Healesville Sanctuary, and the highlight was the Puffing Billy Railway! It was definitely worth the price we paid!
