Excursão de um dia ao Caminito del Rey saindo de Sevilha

Before the trip, I stopped by the tour operator office in person to ask about the itinerary, for example, whether I needed to bring my own lunch, but they couldn’t tell me. On the trip, we made a surprise stop in Osuna for 2 hours for lunch and were dropped there with no guidance at all about what to do and where to go. I asked the tour guide and she told me to navigate myself using Google Maps. Most restaurants didn’t open until 1 PM, but we were leaving at 1:30 PM. Luckily, my phone had battery and data, and I brought my own food. The tour bus was very comfortable, the hiking guide (a different one), and the hike itself were excellent.

I don't normally give extremely bad reviews, but this trip was a terrible experience. Very poor communication by the local operator and staff, for example, we were almost left behind by the bus guide due to a miscommunication between her and the reception! And the operator did NOT give prior advice to customers to bring their own food and beverages (the guide herself said that her company SHOULD have because there are limited food and beverage options on the way; many of us went hungry before the actual hike!). Then the driver "forgot" that his bus was "too big" to enter via the normal road, and we wasted almost 1 more hour as he had to re-route, truly unacceptable! The walk itself is beautiful, but be warned that this area is totally not able to cope with massive crowds/tourism (from the small visitor's centre eatery to the long queues to get kitted up). And this was a "1 day" tour because of the Osuna village stop - but totally unnecessary and unfruitful. I strongly recommend finding other tour options that go straight to Caminito; it can definitely be done in just half a day :(
