Chongqing, this mountain city, is not just for show; you'll be climbing hills all day, easily hitting over 10,000 steps on WeChat. During the day, Hongyadong is indeed just an ordinary commercial street, but our guide took us to the foot of the Qiansimen Bridge on the opposite bank of the river at 7:20 PM. The moment the lights came on, the entire stilt-house complex looked as if it had been set ablaze, shimmering with golden light. It truly was "like Spirited Away," but it also reminded me of my grandmother's old house, adorned with lanterns during Chinese New Year when I was a child. The warmth of Chongqing and that expanse of golden lights blended into a comforting and lively atmosphere. The overall itinerary was quite compact, with not a lot of time at each attraction, but I personally felt it was excellent value for money, and being a small group allowed for more flexibility.

My first impression was how incredibly hot it was, I felt like I was melting, but I still brought a fan and a small portable fan. At Liziba, I waited for three trains to pass under the building before I could get the perfect shot, and the sun made my phone scorching hot. The tour guide said the best spot was next to the leftmost pillar on the observation deck, and indeed, no one was blocking the view. After standing for ten minutes, sweat was dripping into my eyes, but the children remained very excited. Overall, the value for money was excellent, and we visited most of the city's attractions.

The train passing straight through the building at Liziba Station was absolutely amazing. It felt so unreal, and I recorded so many videos! At night, Hongyadong was glowing with all its golden lights. It looked like a beautiful palace. There were a lot of people, but the view was still incredible and totally worth seeing. It was extremely hot today, and I was sweating a lot. Luckily, the air conditioning in the indoor places and the car was strong enough to keep us comfortable — it really saved me! By the way, the fresh fruit I bought from the roadside was surprisingly delicious. It was a small but wonderful part of the trip!

Traveling alone with a child, I didn't dare to go on a free-and-easy trip, so I chose this small group tour. The weather was great in late April, and the tour leader helped push the stroller and carry the baby onto the cable car. My child didn't understand much about the Zhazidong and Baigongguan concentration camps, but seeing the sculpture of "Little Radish Head" made them very quiet, so I believe they still gained something. The Three Gorges Museum has a dinosaur hall, and my child didn't want to leave. When the lights of Hongyadong lit up at night, my child exclaimed, "Castle!" The itinerary was quite rich. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Overall, it was excellent and offered great value for money!

4月底重庆已经三十度了，还好小团空调给力。司机带我们走了本地人抄的近路，李子坝拍轻轨穿楼根本不用跟大部队挤。洪崖洞晚上开灯绝了，小团就六个人，等了会儿夜景，没人催。一天把磁器口、长江索道、山城步道全走完，腿废了但很值。强烈建议穿舒服的鞋，别问我为什么这么说。

A day trip to downtown Chongqing was absolutely fantastic! In the morning, I strolled along Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, experiencing the prosperity and vibrant atmosphere of this mountain city. The old-fashioned noodles on the street were spicy, fresh, and fragrant – one bite was incredibly satisfying. In the afternoon, I went to Liziba to see the monorail passing through buildings, witnessing the magical sight of a train running right through residential blocks. Taking photos from the viewing platform was amazing, and I also walked along the Jialing River promenade, enjoying the breeze and the scenery on both banks. In the evening, I visited Hongyadong. The stilt houses, illuminated by lights, were dazzling and spectacular. The layered architecture felt like stepping into the fantasy world of Spirited Away. The reflections on the river and the lights on the shore intertwined, creating a beauty that was impossible to look away from. The whole day was fulfilling and delightful.

The tour guide was very accommodating. Free pick up at our hotel, free admission tickets. I am so glad to have booked this ticket, such a hassle-free experience, the people in our group were so friendly. Thank you so much for this.
