Excursão guiada de dia inteiro pela Grande Muralha de Jinshanling

We had an amazing day at the Great Wall! The tour was well organized and we had a great driver who picked us up in time and drove us safely to our visiting point! Before the tour we had a good contact with the driver and the company to adjust to tour as we want. So we could start early and skip the crowds. There were just a few people on the wall and we enjoyed a quiet and stunning historic place. Thank you for that tour and for the good organization! Our driver did a great job, picking us up in time, bringing us safely to the Wall and showing us where to meet again.

Sehr schöne Erfahrung! Wir kamen um 12:00 Uhr an der Jinshanling-Mauer an, nahmen den Shuttlebus, kauften sehr gute Burger in der Nähe des Haupttors und begannen den Aufstieg. Wir starteten den Weg vom Zhuanduo-Turm (10-15 Minuten vom Haupttor entfernt). Von dort bis zum Kleinen Jinshan-Turm (wo die Seilbahn hinunterfährt) brauchten wir nur eine Stunde mit einer wirklich schönen Aussicht und einem langsamen und entspannten Tempo (dies ist der neue Bereich der Mauer). Danach ging es weiter zum Blumenturm für eine weitere großartige Stunde. Von da an sahen wir den alten Teil der Mauer, der wirklich wunderschön ist, nur ein wenig steil (sehr schön) bis zum Ost-Fünf-Fenster-Turm (eine weitere Stunde). Von dort kehrten wir zum Houchuankou-Pass zurück und gingen hinunter zum Haupttor (eine weitere Stunde). Der Shuttlebus fährt um 17:30 Uhr, sodass Sie genügend Zeit (ca. 5h30') haben, um alles auf der Mauer mit vielen Stopps zu sehen, kein Grund zur Eile, wir haben viele Fotos und Videos gemacht und hatten genug Zeit, um die Aussicht zu genießen und danach noch eine Mahlzeit einzunehmen, bis wir darauf warteten, dass die anderen zurückkamen.

The tour was well organized by Ms. Susie, our tour guide. It's a great place with great value. The scenery exceeded my expectations, even more beautiful than the photos, and there were very, very few tourists. We hiked there and back without using the cable car, and we were able to observe how authentic, calm, magnificent, wild, and well-preserved the Great Wall is. This place is perfect for photography and hiking.

Everything was well coordinated. The guide will message you on WeChat the day before to confirm your pickup. The bus departs on time. The bus leaving Beijing city is shared with people visiting other attractions. When the bus arrives near Jinshanling, you will switch over to an SUV and be driven directly to the Jinshanling entrance while the bus continues dropping people off at their respective attractions. The price was reasonable. It's a good tour and we had no issues.

We were very impressed with our visit to the Jingshangling section. The section is beautiful, and indeed, there are very few people there. Cindy, our tour guide, made a great effort and even gave us some information about the Wall and Beijing during the bus ride. The only thing that took too long was the waiting time after the Wall until the bus departed, which could have been avoided.

Estoy muy contento de haber reservado este viaje a Jinshanling. Dudaba porque era un día festivo, pero no había mucha gente allí debido a la distancia. Esta sección es muy hermosa. El paisaje es bastante diferente en comparación con Badaling. Creo que es más hermoso y encantador. Caminé desde el punto de partida hasta la puerta este. La última parte es la sección original que no ha sido restaurada y fue impresionante. Nuestra excelente guía Susie nos cuidó muy bien y nos explicó todo en el autobús. This is a great option for hiking Jinshanling without all the fuss of organizing transfers, etc., yourself or the expense of a private car. We were on a bus with two separate tour groups: we were the Jinshanling Hikers, they were the Water Town'ers. Our group was kinda beholden to the itinerary of the other group: so we didn't start hiking until just after 12pm, and had to finish by 5:30pm, even though the bus to Beijing didn't leave until 8pm, getting us back a very late 10pm. So, we used that time to have dinner at Water Town, while we waited. It can feel like an inefficient way to go. But on the other hand, having done this hike 20 years ago, there are a lot of small moving parts you have to figure out yourself if you aren't on a tour like this, and the headache isn't really worth it. Our guide Roberta was excellent, explained everything clearly, so that there was no stress, and we were able to just hike in peace, knowing everything else had been taken care of. A great (but long) day!! 😁

My tour to Jinshanling Great Wall was led by Roberta, it was well paced and definitely breathtaking. There was lesser crowd where we could take our time to enjoy the great sceneries. Overall good guidance and staff, but some waiting time is expected due to merging of another tour group at Gubei Water Town when heading back to Beijing city.

Great value for money! We were initially hesitant to book the tour because there were no reviews yet, but this is exactly the same tour that is available here for 20% more. First, you start with the large bus, then the group splits, some continue to Water Town and a small car then takes this group to the Jinshanling Wall. You have the wall completely to yourselves. Please pack enough water and snacks, once you arrive there it costs five times as much. Plan 20 CYN per person for the shuttle bus, both cash and Alipay are accepted. There were nine of us and the group always stayed together because we all had a similar pace. The long route without a cable car is easily manageable if you are fit. After the tour, we headed to Water Town at 5 PM, where we waited for the others for another 2 hours and ate expensively. Overall, very well organized and definitely recommended.
