Excursão de Dia Inteiro a Seul, Suwon e Fortaleza de Hwaseong

It was a great trip, our tour guide was Andrew, he was very informative, funny, and helpful! Truly amazing! Our tour started at Wawoojeongsa Temple. He knew so much about the history and the great spots for pictures. Next stop was the Starfield Library and I managed to find the Korean version of Harry Potter. Amazing picturesque place. We then went for lunch, Andrew gave an amazing recommendation of an Italian place “Call my Kitchen,” and then we discovered the best dessert shop with a signature carrot-shaped cake (a must-try and visit place). Later at Hwaseong Fortress, he knew so much information about the history and the picture spots. We did lots of walking. Lastly, we went for a kimbap-making experience with a tour about different types of seaweeds, which was delicious. We ended the day with the Hanbok dress-up; it was more crowded than usual and Andrew told us the same, as other tours were also there. Overall, it was an amazing experience, very worth the price. Andrew was an amazing guide and person. Recommend.

가이드 신윤주님 덕분에 정말 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 여행 내내 유용한 정보를 많이 알려주셨고, 혼자 여행했는데도 멋진 사진을 많이 찍을 수 있도록 도와주셨습니다. 하루 만에 여러 곳을 방문할 수 있어서 정말 가치 있는 여행이었습니다. 자유 시간이 주어져서 수원 화성뿐만 아니라 스타필드 라이브러리, 와우정사 외에도 수원 행궁, 팔달문, 주변 재래시장, 그리고 지역 사찰까지 방문할 수 있었습니다.

It was a perfect itinerary for us, as it combined the old—Hwaseong Fortress and Waujeongsa Temple—with the new—Suwon Starfield. My mother loves historical places, while we enjoy modern establishments.

Suwon-reisen var veldig morsom. Guiden vår, SB, hentet oss i sin kule bil og tok oss med til Wawoojeongsa-tempelet i Yongin, Hwaseong-festningen og Starfield i Suwon, og Goyang. Vi hadde fritid ved hvert stopp. På slutten av turen fikk vi lage kimbap og ha på oss hanbok mens vi tok bilder. En av de mest minneverdige opplevelsene var å dra til Starfield Mall med bil og parkere der – det var første gang vi besøkte et kjøpesenter i Korea med bil, siden vi vanligvis tar t-banen.

I had the best time. Our guide Ruby made the difference, her insights and knowledge of the history were superb plus she's very funny and friendly. If you want to get out of Seoul, just 1 hour away, and enjoy the magnificent views and the quiet of Suwon this tour is a MUST. From practicing archery to walking for the cutest street full of IG's coffee shops., If you love Kdramas this is your place to find film locations (including Lovely Runner's Sol's House, Twenty-five, Twenty-one, and more) all of Ruby's suggestions were a plus. The Stanfield Library is unbelievable and different from the one located at Coex. Waujeongsa Temple is magical, relaxing, and with beautiful views Highly recommend it. Thanks, Ruby!!!

Tour guide Ruby made the tour enjoyable, and it was a pleasant surprise to have only three people (including myself) on the tour. It felt like a truly relaxing "private tour." I loved the scenery, especially at Hwaseong Fortress and Waujeongsa Temple. Ruby recommended a good lunch venue in Suwon. Overall, it was a day filled with good memories.

The small group tour with 10 people was great as we were able to get to places on time and see everything on the itinerary. I would have liked more time at the Starfield Library as it felt a bit rushed. At least another hour would be good, as there is a large shopping mall there with lots to see and eat. My friend bought a coffee and cake and didn't have time to finish it. Lunch options were limited and not suitable for everyone. Perhaps lunch could have more variety of places to choose from, like having more time at Starfield Mall for lunch and shopping.

I had an unforgettable last-minute trip to Suwon thanks to this tour! The city is serene and beautiful. Our guide, Andrew, was exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and insightful. Having toured South Korea multiple times, he stands out as the best guide I’ve ever had. This tour is highly recommend!

I joined the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress tour and had a fantastic experience. The tour was very well organized and packed with engaging, informative content. Our guide, Andrew, was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience truly enjoyable.
