Tour guiado de dia inteiro a Borjomi, Fortaleza de Rabati e Vardzia

It's truly legendary. It's a long journey to get to the destination, but it's very worth it. The scenic views and history combined make it definitely recommended.

Although the long journey was more tiring than expected, we had a great time thanks to the guide's rich explanations.

The amazing cave city is the highpoint of this trip, the other two stops were a bit underwhelming, (Borjomi is just a park) especially in low season. The guide, as on other tours in Georgia, was over-explaining everything. He was very knowledgeable, but we were a captive audience for him and he used up a lot of valuable visiting time with detailed historical lectures. At least 3 visitors didn't really understand English and another 3-4 had very little interest in long lectures. We also had loud electronic dance music all the way back home. Apart from that everything went very smoothly and professionally.

While there's ample time to visit Borjomi, Vardzia, and Rabati, the round trip is 500km and takes 17 hours. The return journey of 3.5 hours in the evening is quite tiring due to fatigue. If there's a next opportunity, I recommend visiting Vardzia and Rabati, then staying overnight in Borjomi for a day, followed by a trekking return.
