Tour de Kourtaliotiko, Praia de Damnoni e Praia de Preveli saindo de Rethymno

Preveli beach is too much touristic in my opinion. The tourguide was helpful

Most of this day was just terrible. Damnoni beach seems very nice but there's no time to enjoy. From there we were taken to preveli beach for 2.5 hours. Horid place! No water, ocean full of rocks, beach full of pebbles. No where to sit, ground is hard as rock. No running water. We were not prepared with proper shoes and our feet were hurting terribly. In plakias there is nothing. You eat at the one decent restaurant and then there is nothing to do. For 2 hours. Do not recommend.

Alex, the guide, was mean. I was made to pee outside by the gorge because the people wouldn't let us use their port-a-potties. The bus driver told me to ask them to use it. I said I did, but the guide lied and said they didn't have bathrooms for their job. I said that's a lie, it's behind them outside, lol. Then they don't drop you off where they pick you up, so have your Google Maps ready. They left us in the town center like dogs, 10 minutes out, and we were tired. I'm sure they didn't treat the other passengers like that, but Alex felt at the gorge that if we went, we would come back too late because I had to take 1 minute to grab a credit card. We paid but didn't end up going because he made us feel he would leave us. He was rude. Only the people who started earlier came back late, and we still left late! What a joke! Thank God it was cheap, or I'd be more mad! They rushed us and catered to German speakers, as we were the only Americans. Heads up, this tour is for them.
