Staff were polite and helpful. It was clean and spacious. Drinks and snacks are 24hrs available. Dinner is much better than lunch, and allows for queue number table reservation during dinner hours. Lunch may need to share table with others as it was crowded and free seating. My fave dinner dishes were the lobster, cavier, free flow salmon sashimi, and soup. For lunch, nothing exciting, only the pork knuckles, xiaolongbao and free flow haagen-daz ice cream. Their special bbtea was yummy and available during lunch and dinner. I had fun gaming for 4 hrs in total (at different time slots) at the games section, before retiring to a private room/space booked before hand to rest for the night.

The culinary luxury on display during dinner easily rivals high-end five-star hotel buffets. Seafood lovers will be in paradise with the unlimited supply of succulent live lobster and freshly shucked, plump oysters. For those looking for more premium treats, the lavish spread also features rich caviar and beautifully crisped, succulent roast goose that melts in your mouth. The sheer variety extends heavily into the beverage selection as well. You are completely spoiled for choice with a massive lineup of drinks, including unlimited pourings of premium red and white wines to pair with your gourmet meal. If you prefer something alcohol-free and deeply refreshing after a long, relaxing soak in the tubs, the free-flow, sweet fresh coconuts are a massive hit. To top off an already spectacular dining experience, they serve authentic Monthong durian. The fruit is exceptionally fresh, perfectly creamy, and so sweet—a dream come true for durian aficionados.

The jacuzzi and shower facilities were awesome! A wide range of entertainment facilities is available as an add-on. For the Star buffet, they delivered items as promised with unlimited caviar, lobster, snow crab, J5 ham, and many more.

The food spread was truly amazing. The lounge sofa beds were super comfy, and the in-house robes made me want to buy a set of my own to use as PJs.

The experience was good. The facilities were really nice with lots of staff accommodating to you, but I felt that it was a bit too much. I would have preferred less staff asking me what I needed everywhere I went. The dinner buffet had a lot of food options, but it wasn’t exactly seasoned to my taste. I rather preferred the late night snack instead. There were unlimited fruits and drinks that you could have anytime. Many of the services were additional pay like massages or gaming.

This was my first experience at a Sap spa in mainland China. I mainly felt that the food at Ma Spa was quite high-end and substantial. The only thing I didn't quite understand was why the lobby didn't implement a diversion plan, separating the quiet area (silent) from the noisy area (where people snore). Having everyone sleep together really affects sleep quality. Also, when people are sleeping in the lobby, the service staff could wear silent shoes or slippers, otherwise, the sound of walking on the wooden floor is extremely loud and greatly disturbs sleep! As for the massage services, I personally think it's a matter of luck; some masseurs are very skilled, but others provide quite uncomfortable massages! So, my overall rating this time is that the environment and both hardware and software facilities are excellent. The negative points are the sleep space arrangement and the skill level of the masseurs, which need improvement. Everything else is acceptable!

The price doesn't include dinner, even though it states that star buffet meals are included. It will be an additional 299 RMB. I highly recommend getting a foot massage and pedicure, as the masseuse targets your pressure points! The guy I had was super thorough and would ask if my pedicure was to my liking. Sleeping is in a public area, so if you don't like children talking loudly, loud snoring, farts, and the sounds of Chinese Douyin, then book a private room. For the dinner buffet, make sure you go around 5:40 PM to secure a table, as it fills up fast and many mainlanders will push or cut in front of you. If you call them out, some of them will apologize 🙄. The amenities are great, but the makeup is unsanitary, as everyone uses the same brushes, mascara wands, etc.

The buffet is awesome. The food is really good. I will highly recommend it. The spa facilities are tremendous and so clean. The staff are so efficient. Try the yogurt and the strawberry tanghulu.

The buffet spread is amazing, but services are chargeable. The massage therapist is very good! They will ask if you want to do more treatments, but they are not pushy.

Food, ambience, bathing facilities, and ushering service are definitely 200%. You must come and experience this!
