Klook tour This is our first time visiting Mexico City and it certainly won’t be our last. Not only is the food amazing but the people are incredibly kind and patient with our limited Spanish. We knew for our short four day stay we wanted to see at least one of the sacred ancient ruins so we booked a tour on Klook -PREMIUM TOUR Pyramids of Teotihuacan and Pre-Hispanic Cave. Our tour guide Peter picked us up at our hotel and surprised us with the update that we would be only two people in a day long tour. Peter’s knowledge of Mexico City and the surrounding areas is quite impressive. We learned so much about the complex history of Mexico. He presented various angles of the historic unfolding, and I have a deep appreciation to learn more. A tour of the ancient city and caves followed by a stop at a shop to look at obsidian art, and taste at Mexico’s liquors was icing on the cake to a five star experience. Peter’s hospitality and guidance made our day and we hope other people will find their way around Mexico City and the surrounding areas with Peter too.

¡Este tour vale la pena! Te recogerán personalmente en tu hotel y te dejarán en el hotel o en cualquier punto de la Ciudad de México que prefieras, lo que lo hace muy conveniente. También me encanta que sea un grupo pequeño, lo que lo hace más manejable y puedes ajustar tu tiempo de forma flexible. Como salir con amigos y aprender sobre la cultura. Recomendaría reservar este tour al 100%. ¡Además, degustación de tequila gratis!

Great tour! Karen was superb, and there were never any dull moments.

Overall, a really good experience that my friends and I enjoyed. A few comments though: 1) our guide was fun but missed out on key details (we had to ask him to stay behind for a while to answer our questions, which he did, but it would've been nice if he had just included the information in his spiels), 2) bring snacks because there's literally no time to eat or buy food if you choose the 'no lunch' option (we thought it just meant we'd have to pay for our own lunches), and 3) the driver and guide dropped us off about 2 blocks away from our hotel and asked us to walk (we didn't mind but we were a little surprised, especially because we were carrying a number of items that we bought from the store the tour brought us to). Besides these minor nitpicks, really great experience. Would recommend!

Tour Guide: Samantha was very attentive and considerate, paying close attention to every group member and constantly explaining historical processes on the bus. Itinerary: The Pyramids of the Sun and Moon are a must-visit attraction in Mexico City. If you have the chance to visit Mexico City, you should definitely include them in your travel plans.

Karen, nuestra guía, fue muy informativa. Ella habla por su ciudad Teotihuacán, lo cual es una ventaja ya que vamos a las pirámides de Teotihuacán. Todo fue muy fluido, desde el transporte hasta las visitas guiadas.

We booked for 2 people and this tour ended up being a private tour. Pedro, our guide picked us up at 8:20am and we got back to the hotel by 3pm. We basically finished the tour by 1pm and was dropped off at a suggested restaurant near the pyramids for lunch before heading back to the city. The guide gave thorough explanations and would highly recommend. Do bring a hat and sunglasses and even a sun umbrella. Do wear shoes that can get a little dirty as the pyramids and cave area is rather dusty. We went in January so the morning is windy/chilly and starts to get really warm under the sun by 11am. Do bring your own water or snacks since you start early and there are no food stops till 1pm. You can leave items in the car so you can bring a light jacket and other things.

Lo reservamos a última hora, pero fue perfecto. Pedro es un guía increíble, muy bien informado, cortés y amable. Éramos 4 y se nos unieron otros 3, así que fue un grupo pequeño. Se sintió muy privado. Nos tomó fotos geniales. También nos recomendó un excelente lugar para comer. Jaime es un gran conductor. Recomiendo encarecidamente este tour.
