Review Doha Private Tour Wonderful experience! All the sites mentioned were time well spent. And we have all the lovely photos to prove! (Courtesy of an unexpected camera expert, Mr. Sadiq the driver) Although it started out on a bummer —since National Museum of Qatar was closed due to Eid— we still had a great time on our 20 hours layover from Doha to Istanbul. (Our driver however sort of ‘compensated’ that with a de tour to one of the best Karak Chai joint I’ve ever tasted) You should request Mr Sadiq as your next driver as he was very patient (we were travelling with an elderly and an infant, mind you) and also full of insights and useful tips; even haggled for us to get discounts at Souq Waqif. An overall not to be missed opportunity and I’d say money (and time) well spent. Try it!

It was truly the best! Our guide, Kamil, explained everything so well. Since I don't understand English very well, he even used a translator to explain things, which was very touching. He also takes amazing photos, truly the best! I was so grateful to see his genuine effort to teach us more about Doha and give us a great tour. He even checked our receipts to make sure we weren't overcharged; he was such a kind and good guide. If only I spoke better English, Kamil and I would have become best friends. I feel like we saw all of Doha in just one day. Thank you!

We are very lucky to have Kamil as our tour guide for our Doha city tour! Kamil reached out to us the night before to ensure we didn't miss him the next morning, and he actually arrived at our hotel a little earlier than the pick-up time. He is punctual and reliable, which is very important, especially since we were only staying in Doha for two days. During the entire tour, Kamil took every chance to introduce us to all the major architectural sites our car passed by, and by the end of the tour, we had already learned a lot about Doha (kudos to Kamil!). The pace of the tour was just right, efficient but not rushed (we loved it!). We highly recommend this tour to all visitors to Doha, and Kamil definitely makes a difference!
