Excursão de um dia para Mostar e Medjugorje saindo de Dubrovnik

Our primary goal was to visit Medjugorje, so we skipped Mostar. We heard from other travelers on the same tour that Mostar is beautiful. The driver shared a lot of history about Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he drove well and safely.

Lo que realmente destacó fue lo considerado y atento que fue durante todo el día. Se aseguró de que estuviéramos cómodos, respondió a cada pregunta con entusiasmo e incluso nos dio agua y frutas locales solo para brindarnos una experiencia más enriquecedora. Sentimos que realmente se preocupaba por darnos el mejor momento posible. Si tienes la suerte de tenerlo como guía, te espera algo especial. Bosnia cobró vida de la mejor manera gracias a él. ¡Altamente, altamente recomendado!

We loved Mostar and the optional waterfall stop at Kravica. The stop in Medugorje was a bit long for us but I can see why others would want a long stop there. Our guide was friendly and informative which was great. My advice would be to take plenty of cash as many places were cash only. You can usually use euros so we didn’t change any money to the local currency (but bring small notes as we got some different currency change!)

It was a good experience. The transfer was smooth. Our guide was quite new to the job, but he still did his best. Thank you, Supertours. We will definitely do it again.

It was a great quick day trip from Dubrovnik. Mostar and the falls are really worth the visit. People should add this to their place to visit while in Dubrovnik.

Mein Mann und ich haben gestern an der 1-tägigen Tour nach Medjugorje und Mostar teilgenommen. Wir fanden sie angesichts der 12-stündigen Tour und der Abholung vom Hotel super preiswert. Der Reiseleiter und Fahrer, Herr Adnan, zeigte ein hohes Maß an Professionalität und ein gutes Timing für Besichtigungsstopps und Toilettenpausen. Die kleine Reisegruppe ermöglichte es uns, neue Freunde aus verschiedenen Teilen der Welt kennenzulernen. Sehr empfehlenswert und ein besonderer Dank an den Reiseleiter Adnan.

This was the 1st tour I had in Croatia. Driver/guide was ok with English but sometimes hard to understand. The 1st stop involves a visit to the Apparition Hill. We were given 1 hr. But we were not briefed on how difficult it was to climb on steep, slippery stones. We got back to the parking lot 5 mins late. When we got there, our driver/guide was no where to be found. Since Bosnia & Herzegovina was not a part of EU, I didn't have any mobile service. Imagine, being left there at the parking lot with no one to ask! Good thing, another solo traveler was also there & had mobile service. It turns out, the driver/guide brought the other guests to the 2nd location & will return for us. But we waited for 25 mins until he returned. So if I didn't see the other solo traveler, how else will we know what happened? I had other tours in Croatia after this and asked them if it was right to leave us. All of them said no, driver should have waited for us.

The group was great, but the guide’s low energy and lack of enthusiasm made the experience disappointing. He admitted he didn’t know how to start his speech because it was “too early,” failing to set a positive tone. His instructions were unclear, and he managed time poorly, leading to confusion at stops. At the apparition site, only 2 out of 8 people returned on time, with 4 getting lost and 2 left behind. He smoked frequently, leaving a strong odor in the van, and was dismissive of concerns like the heat. His reckless driving made everyone uneasy. The tour ended poorly, with him asking for a good review, praising his driving, and awkwardly framing tipping, making us feel pressured to tip. Despite this, he was attentive only during drop-off. His inexperience, lack of professionalism, unclear guidance, and indifference made the tour unenjoyable, a sentiment shared by several others in the group.

The driver who came and pick us up did not have identification to verify who he is. The Van has a logo “super transfer” NOT the same as the company name I have been talking with “Supertours”. when I asked to verify driver can’t show me anything. He told me I asked too many questions and also told me that he will change the Van transport. That morning , i lost my trust and did not go with him. I felt unsafe. i wish the company - Super tours- make a better communication about the details pick up such as color of the Van, picture of the driver with his name and name or logo in the van . i found out they do not have local office and they work from home. The lady declined to tell me where is home . The communication was unclear and dishonest. . I ended up using a local company who does have an office locally and they are very good in communication by phone and text and you can even leave your luggage in their office.
