I boarded the train at Dongdaegu Station, departing at 10:30 AM. There was a lady on board responsible for language communication and introductions. I chose to complete the entire loop. There were several foreign friends on the same trip. At each stop, there would be an announcement and a video introduction, which was a great arrangement. I returned to Dongdaegu Station at 12:40 PM to look around, then took the 1:30 PM train to Culture Alley, where I got off to visit the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine, Gyesan Catholic Church, and Jongno Starbucks. I also tasted Park's Braised Beef Ribs, which were super delicious!

The bus was on time and the driver was very good at driving. The seats were comfortable and there were lots of brochures. There was a big TV screen that provided information about all the stops. We were also informed in advance about the next stop so we could be ready to get off.

I happened to encounter a bus with a tour guide, who enthusiastically recommended attractions to me. However, I boarded too late and only visited three out of the twelve stops (one of which was Dongdaegu Station). If you want to make the most of your trip, I recommend taking the bus in the morning and visiting the more distant spots (E-World, Apsan, etc.). These places are further away, and transferring by yourself can be troublesome, so taking the tourist train saves a lot of time. Also, unless it's cherry blossom season, you can really skip the 12th stop; it's super boring, and the river there is ugly, not as nice as the Han River. The spots from Kim Gwang-seok Street to Seodaemun can be explored on foot for a day, so you don't necessarily need to take the bus. Just for your reference.

There weren't many tourists on board, a few Koreans and mostly foreigners. It's cheaper to buy tickets in advance; on-site, it costs 10,000 Korean Won in cash or by card.

It's convenient because you can get on and off freely and alight at major tourist spots. If you get off at one place, there's an hour's wait until the next bus, so if you want to take your time, you might be concerned about the time limit. However, it was very helpful as it allowed me to visit places that are inconvenient to reach by local bus. I only got off at two places, but that was enough. I recommend it because I was able to buy tickets cheaper than usual.

The bus stop is very difficult to find. You need to go to Exit 3 of Dongdaegu Station, to the floor where you see the customer service center.

I had such a lovely time using the Daegu hop-on hop-off bus tour! Every driver was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made me feel really safe and comfortable — especially as a solo traveler. The buses were always on schedule, arriving right on time at each stop, which made planning the day super easy. Since it was my first time in Daegu, this tour really helped me explore the best spots without any stress. However, if you’re planning to visit Daegu and use this bus, I highly recommend taking at least 2–3 days to fully enjoy the places without rushing. There’s a lot to see, and trying to do everything in one day might feel a bit rushed! Overall, I absolutely loved it!! Thank you so much for such a smooth and enjoyable experience 💛

If you don't plan to navigate public buses yourself, you can purchase this package. The bus offers multi-language audio guides, and you can stay at each stop for an hour (though it's a bit of a shame that the bus only operates in a single direction 🔄). Plus, there's a discount for taking the Front Mountain Cable Car! Buying in advance on Klook is almost half the price of purchasing on-site.
