Excursão de um dia ao Monte Omuro em Tóquio e ao Festival de Fogos de Artifício de Atami

The car was new, and the tour guide/driver was diligent and professional. The fireworks display from the Mount Omuro cable car descent was spectacular. Fortunately, there was still a train available to take us back to Shinjuku after it ended. (During long weekends with many people, the cable car queue can be quite long.)

The overall trip was okay, but one of the group members was a bit abnormal, affecting others, and the weather wasn't ideal. The tour guide was also very good and attentive.

This is the second time I've participated in a similar tour, and honestly, the tour guide you get will determine your ultimate experience. This time, I'm grateful to Guide Fang for her meticulousness, repeatedly reminding the group of important details the night before, and advising us to buy water to stay hydrated before we set off. There are only two points to note: first, it takes about 4 hours to reach Mount Omuro (I've been on this tour twice, and the travel time was similar both times); second, the Jogasaki Coast on the itinerary is not very suitable for elderly people with mobility issues, as it requires walking on a relatively rugged path for about fifteen minutes. The scenery is beautiful, but it's important to know your limits.

The hotel prices in Atami that night were very high, but I didn't want to stay in Atami for too long. Being able to visit Mount Omuro and Atami all in one day, this day tour was really good. It's just a pity that traffic jams reduced the sightseeing time.

Thanks to the tour guide's thoughtful reminders, I avoided motion sickness and hunger during my trip. They also diligently introduced the scenic spots along the way, making the entire journey exceptionally fulfilling.

It's good, but the journey is very long. It's recommended to meet earlier so the itinerary won't be so rushed.

The guide was super professional, and even though I didn't know Chinese, I felt well included, and we understood each other somehow anyway. So, I strongly recommend it.

My friend and I booked the same one-day tour on different platforms, and this one was a bit more expensive. The Atami fireworks were beautiful, but the driver seemed unprofessional. There were three stops in total, but he didn't know where the parking lots were for two of them, and a lot of time was spent looking for parking, which meant we didn't have time to explore Atami. Furthermore, the return journey was slow, and we arrived back in Shinjuku an hour later than my friend, almost missing the last train.

The tour guide was very polite, also acted as the driver, and patiently answered our questions.

The weather wasn't great on the day of departure; Mount Omuro was shrouded in thick fog. Fortunately, the weather cleared up in the evening, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful fireworks. Aside from the weather, the overall trip was good.
