The boat sailed smoothly on the Mississippi River, with professional commentary on the scenery along both banks. While waiting in line to board, the steam whistle music was delightful.

This is a must-do activity in New Orleans. We had the 11 AM lunch slot and started queuing around 10:30 AM, with boarding beginning around 10:55 AM. Since the weather was bad, there were fewer passengers, so on a nice day, you'd probably need to queue earlier. As it was the first mealtime, we were guided to the dining car immediately after boarding. The meal consisted of cornbread, jambalaya, red beans and rice, fried fish, and a dessert cake, all served directly to our table. Drinks, however, were self-service, with complimentary water, iced tea, and coffee available. The food suited our taste perfectly. Alcoholic beverages incurred an additional charge. The ship's decks included the basement (bar, boiler room, engine room), the first floor (dining room), and the second and 2.5th floors (cabins, souvenir shop). You can visit the engine room, allowing children to see an old-fashioned steam engine in operation. We had a wonderful time enjoying the meal, listening to music, exploring the steamboat's interior, and admiring the Mississippi River scenery. We also got a good deal because we booked through Klook, which offered a discount.

I enjoyed live jazz music on a boat slowly cruising down the Mississippi River. The atmosphere of the night view and music was wonderful, and I had a special time that felt truly New Orleans.

I traveled alone, but it was still very enjoyable. It was clean, but sun protection is absolutely essential!
