Avaliações
5 stars for the boatman’s effort. Do remember to tip the boatman because it was really hard work to navigate around. The full tour was around 2 hours plus. If you are looking for super beautiful scenery and you are not in the area then i think you can give this place a miss. The traffic back was horrendous though.
This is one for the bucket list. The amazing boatmen are not getting enough credit due to lower tourist numbers after the pandemic. Competing regions have raised costs without significantly increasing the pay for those who do the work. Once you experience the breathtaking beauty of the landscape with the confident navigation of the boatmen, you will agree that they deserve more, so tip well. It's a long trek from Manila, about 2 hours and 45 minutes, plus another 2 hours for the falls, and a few more hours back, making it an all-day trip. I definitely recommend this trip.
The food is very bad, very Korean style, only pork and sausage are edible. The driver is very nice, offered a blanket when my child said he was cold. But there's an additional P400 charge for hotel pick-up. The boatmen work very hard, as they need to push the raft along the river when there are rocks on the riverbed. However, they could be nicer when asking for tips.
best experience, we enjoyed the boat ride and also the falls. The waterfalls are refreshing and cold
we were the only 2 participants on that day so it felt like a private tour. driver arrived earlier to pick us up at meet up point so we set off to start the 2.5hrs car ride to the riverside. arrived at Aria where we were greeted by the friendly staff Ms. Angela and her team. lunch was pretty good! korean banchan, rice, meat and soup! The place is equipped with lockers, very clean toilet and changing rooms. leave your change of clothes here, bring water/gopro and your waterproof bag (dont lose your waterbottle else it becomes trash on the river)put on lifejacket and helmet, and we were off! hitched a ride upstream passing fishermen, ducks and beautiful waterfalls, and watched the very skillful boatmen manoeuvre our bangka (canoe) between the rocks and fighting against rapids! arrived at the falls, rode out to nature “car wash” on a bamboo raft, that was absolute fun!! swam for a bit in the cave behind the waterfall too! it was a good break out of the bustling manila city, recommended!
1. It takes about two hours to get there from Manila by car. 2. The scenery and staff upon arrival are very dedicated. 3. The waterfall raft ride is spectacular (I thought I was a ninja).
The boatman worked incredibly hard and was very careful and diligent in ensuring our safety. It was truly a magnificent feast of nature.
This was a super fun activity! We enjoyed it so much, and the sights were just wow! If you enjoy nature, this is the activity for you! Our driver, Ariel, arrived 15 minutes early, updated us with an SMS message, and was standing, waiting for us with a Klook banner. He was super easy to find. He played good music, explained things along the way, and made sure the journey was as comfortable as possible for us. The activity was just amazing; raw nature, jungle mountains above us, and strong current waters made this experience unforgettable. The boatmen worked super hard, jumping from stone to stone and in and out of the boat while muscling the boat up the streams, which made this experience even better. Going in and out of the cave was mesmerizing—a must-do thing, highly recommended. I saw people here complain about the high tip they ask for; well, they actually deserve it! 500 pesos is not too high for what they do. The food was okay; we chose to eat after the trip. I highly recommend booking this trip. Bonus fact: you might meet the falls cat! :)
We were a group of three and the only customers on this day tour. The journey overall was very enjoyable. The boatmen muscled their way upstream to reach the falls; it was dangerous and demanded a lot of effort. The boatmen were very polite, especially the one at the front, and they never asked for tips, which was very different from what I saw in previous comments. Of course, I tipped them 500 pesos each. It was worth it.
A must-do activity when you're in Manila! I've tried white water rafting in my country before, but this activity involves going upstream to the falls, only to be greeted by a magnificent waterfall at Devil's Cave. The boatmen are skillful in maneuvering the canoe, so just sit tight and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Definitely worth it.
