Antonio was a very good guide and the driver was professional. Antonio encouraged us during the ascent and helped us cope with altitude sickness. I highly recommend this tour!

The full-day itinerary, including transportation, breakfast, lunch, and Rainbow Mountain tickets, costs less than NT$1000. Although the one-way drive is nearly 4 hours, it's still a great value! Rainbow Mountain is 5000 meters above sea level, and the shuttle bus stops at 4600 meters. Travelers can choose to walk up for about 45-60 minutes, or pay extra to take an ATV or ride a horse! I chose the lazy option of riding a horse up, but I still had to walk the last 20 minutes. If I hadn't been short on cash, I probably would have chosen to ride a horse both up and down the mountain.

Well plan tour. Our guide Edwin is a great tour guide that provided all the required information about rainbow mountain and assistance during the tour. I would recommend taking the emergency horse that cost 80 PEN one way to the base of rainbow mountain. It helps to preserve the energy for an @ 45mins climb up the top. Even though the distance to the top appeared quite short, but the thin air in the high altitude environment, making necessary to stop regularly to catch your breath. The experience is definitely worth it. Breakfast was good but lunch was a bit disappointing, edible but not appertising.

I have a basic level of fitness and found this hike really hard but we'll worth it. The tour company is fantastic and let you go at your own pace, so I didn't feel like I was holding everyone up. The views are amazing and the tour guides are super well versed in the history and culture so we felt like we could ask them anything about the area and the history. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was truly wonderful and breathtaking. We had an amazing time, and our tour guide for the Yupis was incredibly knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend it.

We just finished this day trip, and overall the experience was good. However, after returning to Cusco at the end of the trip, the guide asked us for our passports to take photos, claiming it was company procedure. We expressed our disagreement at the time, but the guide insisted it was company policy. Could you please help us clarify this matter? Thank you.

The mountain was great! It was a bit tough to climb to the top, but you can pay to ride a horse!
