I was so happy. I had originally booked a trip to Dadan Island for February 7th. On February 6th, before boarding the plane, I received a call from the travel agency saying that due to strong winds and waves on February 7th and 8th, the trip was cancelled and we had to change to visit the island on February 6th. After picking up our luggage around 12 PM on February 6th, the B&B owner drove us to Jiugong Pier, and we successfully landed on the island.

When it's time, go directly to the waiting room at the pier to wait for your name to be called for ID check and boarding. The tour guide's explanations were lively and interesting. The boat will first circle Erdan Island before landing on Dadan Island. If you want to buy a souvenir shirt, do so early, otherwise you might not find your size. The overall trip felt great and is highly recommended.

It's rare to have the opportunity to visit a military stronghold. Dadan Island is still garrisoned by the national army, and it holds many stories that inspire great respect for the soldiers who bravely defended it in the past. It's definitely worth a visit. From here, you can also gaze at Xiamen and experience the atmosphere of a former battlefield. However, it gets very hot on the island in summer, so those planning to visit should definitely consider the weather.

The only way to visit the island is with a guided tour. Each person receives headphones to listen to the guide's commentary, and refreshments are provided (one per person). There are also minibuses available on some sections of the island, making it much easier to get around.

Boldly taking on a heavy burden, an island alone but its people not lonely. A visit to the front-line battlefield is not only about successfully unlocking an island, but also about paying respect to the officers and soldiers who bravely fought here in the past.

At the end, there were refreshments and drinks, and we could even take home what we couldn't finish. This trip was incredibly rewarding and truly wonderful!

As a history buff, I've always been curious about Dadan Island. Thanks to Klook's half-day tour, I finally had the chance to experience it. The island is steeped in a strong wartime atmosphere, with relics from that era visible everywhere. Coupled with the guide's explanations, it felt like stepping into a time machine. 「膽大上大膽」，是值得一去的行程，體驗了當時在第一線的生活。原本有許多步行的路程，這次有安排了小巴士來接送，讓年齡層較大的團隊，也能安心參與。中間休息處的茶點也很不錯。其中的建議是在船上座位的引導，一開始不知道船艙最前側仍有座位，所以不少人坐在船艙外，被浪打濕了全身。希望船務的工作人員，能協助旅客的安坐。
