Excursão de um dia pela cidade de Kandy com visita ao orfanato de elefantes de Pinnawala

Tuvimos un conductor muy amable que no hablaba bien inglés. No hubo ningún guía en ningún momento durante el recorrido. Nos dejaron solos para explorar las cosas descritas. Nos fuimos sin ningún conocimiento cuando regresamos a casa. ¡Recomiendo tomar un conductor de TukTuk de la calle por 1/10 DEL PRECIO!

Had to chase up night before about pick up time. Poor advice a couple of times from driver. He also took me out of our way to an elephant park - not part of tour - with additional cost of 3000-5000. I refused to pay. Must have been hoping for kickback. All other activities were as stated.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER 1. The tour guide was also the driver, not a separate driver and guide. 2. The tour guide was 15 minutes late. 3. The tour guide had never heard of KLOOK and had no idea about the itinerary. He only knew where to go after seeing my KLOOK confirmation email. 4. The actual itinerary was completely different from the website's itinerary. - Sightseeing in the upper lake area: Did not go. - Udawattakele Sanctuary and Royal Botanical Gardens: Did not go. - Bottled water: Not provided. - Visit to a spice garden, tea factory, gem museum: These three were all shopping stops. The driver only wanted to take us to shopping stops to buy very expensive items, treating us like easy targets. Description: The guide said the tour company hadn't paid him, so he couldn't go to the Temple of the Tooth Relic as the first stop (which was already different from the original itinerary). Therefore, he first took us to shopping stops that didn't require entrance fees: a tea factory and a spice garden. By the time these two activities were over, it was almost 11 AM. We then refused to go to the gem museum and hoped to visit the Udawattakele Sanctuary and Royal Botanical Gardens. However, the driver said there wasn't enough time and that it wasn't the right season for the botanical gardens, dismissing our request. In the end, he took us to the conveniently located University of Peradeniya (which, of course, has free admission). This means the entrance fees for the Udawattakele Sanctuary and Royal Botanical Gardens were pocketed by the guide. We did have lunch; another guide picked us up and took us to a famous local chain restaurant, which was quite good. Finally, we returned to the city. Another guide (the third one) picked us up and took us to see the Big Buddha (including a 500kS entrance fee per person), and then to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. However, he didn't provide a tour; after buying our tickets (1500kS per person per ticket), he left, so we couldn't learn about the history of the Temple of the Tooth Relic. A very bad travel experience. The reason the guide left quickly was that we couldn't provide him with additional income.
