Amazing staff(very kind and detailed oriented) and beautifully traditional ryokan that I enjoyed staying here. But the a bit strict about the hours- the entrance door is locked between 12am to 6 am so if you are an avid runner or late night party person, you better not stay here. Also they are quite flexible that they let me to use the library for my business meeting at 5 am in Japanese time(4 pm EST) but there is no business area that you can use at their non working hours(library opens at 8 am) and no gym, no working restaurants unless you order meals in advance. Still, the awesome spa, and nice staff surpassed those inconveniences. Breakfast is divine-must try and their dinners are awesome- it’s just pricey but worth it.

I absolutely loved the traditional Japanese room with the private outdoor bath. While it can only fit one person it’s so relaxing to be out there amongst the bamboo hillside.
The hotel staff here really go above and beyond helping you with baggage, shuttle to the train station, explaining, and giving restaurant recommendations.
The dinner unfortunately was full as I booked somewhat last minute. Some of the town restaurants closed up a little early on Saturday but the recommended izakaya was terrific.
I didn’t need most of the amenities but everything was provided including some tea, coffee, and a kettle that I wanted first thing in the morning.
Just wish I stayed longer to experience more of the town and the onsens.

The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and intentional about being sure we were comfortable and able to enjoy every facet of this cultural experience.

Overall, the property was clean and well maintained, though the hallways felt a bit dated. The stay itself was comfortable, but communication could have been improved. I had clearly requested a half board plan with both dinner and breakfast, but only dinner was booked. While they did confirm dinner in their message, I wish the breakfast portion had been addressed more clearly to avoid any confusion. It may have been a language barrier, but better clarification would have helped.

Fantastycznie Spa was wonderful. Got a shiatsu massage afterward dinner in our traditional Japanese room with tatami mats, futon, resting area, view of bamboo forest and private onsen. It was magical!

Very delightful stay at this onsen resort. Staff are very attentive and helpful. The facility was nice, clean and with relaxing vibe. The onsen was clean and relaxing. It is great that we could enjoy the golden onsen on permise. We really enjoy our stay here.
