I didn't give a 5 star mainly because housekeeping was not that satisfactory. Body wash and body lotion was completely out, and one of the cups was actually used and put back together with the clean ones. Everything else was excellent. I am especially impressed that the valet service even charged my EV without additional fees.

We had a wonderful three night stay in Victoria and the Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza Hotel. We were in a family suite which had ample room for the five of us. There was even a fridge, microwave, stove, and over as well as a coffee maker and all of the fixings. It was just what our family needed in order to tour and visit Victoria. We would love to stay here again. We were able to walk to Chinatown and easily be accessible to the Wharf. A great stay for families!

This was a great stop before heading home. Nice staff, affordable, and in a convenient location. Downside was the high level of homelessness and drug use arpund the property.

L’hôtel était bien situé et propre. Le personnel très gentil. Le seul petit aspect négatif était que nous avons réservé pour 5 personnes et tout était prévu pour 5, accessoire de cuisine, serviettes.

Nice clean hotel in safe walkable neighborhood. Staff was friendly and welcoming. No breakfast and not even discount at adjoining restaurant. Beds too firm so hard on hips for side sleepers. Also hotel didn’t have king sized fitted sheets so instead used flat sheet that didn’t go to the bottom of the bed. Started out flat each night but as one twists and turns, this bottom flat sheet would bunch up becoming both uncomfortable and unhygienic as it left you sleeping on mattress cover which I’m sure isn’t changed after each guest. When I asked to have proper fitted sheet housekeeping staff informed me that hotel didn’t have any. I communicated this issue to front desk staff and they just apologized.

Everything was very good about the hotel except the room was quite noisy from a night club, both in terms of music from the club and patrons on the street. We saw Expedia warnings about this just before we checked in but there was no alternative room at that time. If you stay here ask for a room away from the club on Broad Street.
